Only supremacy (conquest) wars can be triggered with 60%+. The others need to be taken in direct wars.
Is there any difference between a supremacy war and a regular one?
I never saw anarchists elect (maybe with themselves?) and there are too little Theocracies and Prison Colonies to test them, but corporations are really aggressive over their assets. Don't know if they know friends.
Theocracies will go into election. One I'm backing recently had an election. I think it was a dictatorship.
That would put them into the autocrats group and most likely elect with Patronages. So no special group for those. If all groups would be the same size we would miss 1 candidate for the autocrats. My bet is on Feudal to be number 4 to elect with the crew.
That leaves Prison Colonies and Corporations with questions. Although corps definetly hate democracies and autocrats... as well as Feudals if they are part or not.
No your war changed hands today. The system flips with the next galactic tick, not at the same time as the influence tick.
As I understand it the state is a faction state and not a system state. The effects are factionwide. The war itself will not reduce influence - there is no "war tax" as such. What is happening is that all the non combat related activities have no effect for your faction in every system, while all activities have effect for other factions. The random effects of other cmdrs that maintain influence levels is severely (and I would say unfairly) imbalanced during the war period.
This can be a very punishing for multi system factions making the BGS more like powerplay with a significant maintenance overhead. Until tweaked make sure to plan your conflicts with this in mind.
No. The station flipped and the system flipped on yesterday's tick, War was removed on today's tick and it was confirmed by FD which station is the controlling station.
...and the caching of war bonds to a different system with same minor faction to raise influence and counteract slice and dice tactics
Other factors need considering is the outfit shipyard effect during war in a different system to maintain influence ...
Could you clarify what you mean by this? Does using the station outfitter affect the BGS?
We have indications -repeat indications- that buying high value outfitting or high value ships have a positive effect to the faction that owns the station even during war in another system.

i know, it was possible to gain reputation by selling outfitting - but that was patched out. i highly doubt, that buying has an (influence) effect - i could imagine, that selling has an influence effect (if you buy new moduls, you sell old parts), like with trade - if you can game it by selling parts all day sitting in station, it should be patched out like the 1-t-trading-exploit.
anyway, testing it would only require a no-traffic system with outfitting.
