There isn't. There are two missions. The rest is just is just a variation of who or what (human or AI or both) you come across and it's always combat.
Would you be willing to link it?![]()
Deadline is not "now". It's when ED commandos get space legs
But there are more than 2 missions in Crusader. As I said, you really should try the game before getting so deep into criticizing it.
Wanna bet that you will have more things to do (as in varied meaningful, engaging gameplay) in one single System in Star Citizen than in ED's 400 Billion systems altogether?
Simple avatar bet, It's up for takes if anyone wants to go for it just sign in! [rolleyes]
I'm happily married thanks [big grin] You will have to wait for citizencon like all the citizens and try your best to not fall in love. [praise]

That's fair but I think the point is that there was a new way to spawn in assets on the fly which no longer necessitates loading up whatever new data is loaded on server restarts for certain new objects. POIs themselves were actually non-persistent in some cases (certain outposts, downed beacons, crashed ships) so there is the ability to randomly spawn in and place objects. In the 2.2 change list they say POIs can now be persistent so maybe they made it so those things above are always in the same place rather than spawn/despawn.
I'm thinking the big thing is that maybe Stage 1 through 4 of the orbitals are actually 4 different models rather than separate pieces that are assembled together, because I have seen them in different stages in game previously. But, I've seen images of different station elements that can be put together in different structures so it shouldn't be difficult to assign attachment points that can be done on the fly in the game when a new element is spawned in but it may require some new back end design to "move" the piece into place and "attach it" visually that took a while to get to.
Beats me, but I wouldn't say it isn't unbelievable to be done.

Well, there's proof I've played it - you know the whole screenshots I have in this thread in my space undies in SPPAAAACCCEEEE <waves hands>.
By the time E : D gets space legs, SC may have a whole star system and maybe get mining in, doubtful, so yeah based on the fact there is no clear plan, road map or idea base as to how or what to accomplish it's pretty safe to say SC is always going to be lagging behind if it even survives the next one to two years.
I'll bet they go bust before release, or release an MVP so poor they go bust shortly afterwards.
Emmmmm that's about SC development studios?
If so.....WOW. Like first rule of any startup - and let's be frank CIG is startup - you buy all those expensive thingies yourself, to encourage employees that you will invest in their well being.
I can also bet that the MVP released will the be of higher quality and features more content / game mechanics than any other space game MVP release.
Lucky they had so many employee's who just happened to have spare identical impractical desks made out of old aeroplanes.
Wrong, again I reiterate, please try and play the game first and then go ahead full on critic/cynic mode.
You have these singular quests:
- Repair/Break Com-Array's: Go to an broken con-array and turn power back on or do the way around if you are a baddie.
- Probe Quyests. Investigate wrecks/distress signals in asteroid fields (pvp with pirates or stealth, optional) - Leads to PVE against pirates and ultimately against the alien specie Vanduul.
- PI Quest. Solve a case of a Wife trying to get the insurance money of the husband that died in the work accident. (3 different endings)
- Bounty Hunt quest (Track and assassinate the pirate player)
- Clear your criminal Record by hacking the computer data base in Kareah Station.
So it's a bit more than 2.
I can also bet that the MVP released will the be of higher quality and features more content / game mechanics than any other space game MVP release.
Well of course you'd claim that, we've already established at length that you have absolutely no idea what an MVP is.
They follow the same format - fetch or fight. So, big deal, basically the same thing. And I am not "wrong" as you stated - what you responded to was a different post entirely. I did play, but you are wrong. I am not going to invest time into downloading the game again when it is clunkier than most early access games as not nearly as fun as other games I have and rather would play. Plus the controls don't assign properly so I am totally done until they get a better control assignment going on as it gets tiring to reassign them 4 times let alone 10. So when the tech demo becomes more of a game I will put time into re-downloading the whole thing again but the last time I played - a month and a half ago - it was as engaging as other broken tech demos and as much fun.
I looked at those desks for my home office a few years ago. I'm a pilot and love airplanes. Then I saw the price tag...nope.
Sure mate, you know best what the MVP is because for you it's all going to end in 90 days right. [rolleyes]
Same format? Care to compare that format and gameplay with ED quests for example? How's it more varied? If anything they are more of the same and with less varied outcomes than Star Citizen.
What does ED have to do with anything in this case? You're claiming that SC's missions are varied when they aren't, no one claims that ED's missions have any depth to them. ED's missions aren't completely identical like SC's ones are, though.
Explain an MVP as you understand it.
Again? Why? I thought you had already "established at length that I have absolutely no idea what an MVP is" [rolleyes]
Just save some bandwidth for 3.0 and give it a go, then talk. Should be funny.
Bring on Citizencon! 10 Days.
