Lol - are people really paying to get worms?
I would pay for a game that was just the worms, provided they had little arms and Bazookas.

I'm sure if they were for sale, some people would buy them, but no, it's a parody![]()

What a silly idea. It'll never catch on.And bananas, don't forget the bananas, for scale !

Finally listening to the stream.
Not too promising, tbh. [uhh]
I think what disappoints me - outside all ED vs. SC baggage, I am highly subjective, never said otherwise - is SC gameplay. It doesn't click with me. SC claims to be first person, but everything feels very third person gamey. Ok, we can assume iteration interface is a bit WIP, but still I am not sure it is right way to go. As I have said before walking around and interactions are very jerky, very unpleasant to eye. Maybe it is different when you play it. Planets or no planets, tons of gameplay features or not, if SC is not pleasant to play - what's the point?
For SC to be more than tech demo they have to move beyond beautiful art assets. Which they seem to really struggle with.

The fact not one iota of actual gameplay was actually played on stage? Or that for the vast majority of the presentation, CIG had virtually nothing to talk about but some wannabe Facebook-alike service they are trying to create in-game?
*Heh* What was your first clue that things just "ain't right" with CIG behind the scenes?

Why is there an Arrakis Sandworm in their demo?
Isn't that copyright infringement?
What a horrendous presentation.
