I know it's not a popular/political thing to say, but this community needs some serious purging.
The fact that some people will deem an entire patch (one of the best ones ever, in fact) to be a "disappointment" because of the Ceos/Sothis run nerfs is beyond by ability to comprehend. Do you guys just wake up in the morning, wash your faces, brush your teeth and look into the mirror thinking "Yeah...today I'm going to be a totally obnoxious a-hole!" or something?
This patch is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. The balance changes, the community interaction during the beta period, the new features, the smoothness of the launch....I can't believe how some people can be so conceded.
This is partially why I absolutely love the Engineers and everything about them. It forces people to shift their goals beyond just the accumulation of credits. They need to invest time to get at the top levels this game has to offer. If people don't want to get on board with that, then good riddance.
My only hope is this kind of garbage doesn't get under Frontier's skin or influence their decisions in the future.
