Very interesting find! Seems to confirm our suspicions that some organisation is aware of aliens & suppressing all evidence of this; since "company directive" phrasing is used then I suspect Sirius Corporation, though could be another (e.g. Caine Massey?)

This could be one of the old wormhole generators from original Elite game.

I have just been to the Alien wreck at Hip 17862 and i can see this same symbol on a part of the wreckage, sorry if this has been stated before but i dont fancy trawling through the whole thread .

All of this. We keep seeing hints of each organization doing something shady and secretive. And then another. And so on. It makes it seem like each one is doing their own secretive thing, which they just might be doing. But it also could just be that we are seeing the actions of a few inside each organization. We might be witnessing a resurgence of INRA as its own group with their own agenda instead of a collective working against the Thargoids.

In an image, posted in the latest Newsletter, the triangular clusters, appeared to be "simply" some kind of storage solution, for what appeared to be fuel rods.

We have seen images of some off camera ship, with a green weapon, and green glow. So Im guessing the alien base may be military in nature. some kind of storage / refuelling location.

Whats also noticeable, is all these green storage devices, seem to be compromised, and are leaking the glowing green goo into the ground around them. Slightly worrying...

The bases, are obviously coated in meters deep layers of dust. So we can only see the smoothed outline of the location. Im hoping that this will be excavated at some point. No doubt a power will arrive soon, claim it and do so.

At that point, I think these rows of triangular columns will be revealed as rows of fuel rods, stored vertically, in some kind of array. It'll be very interesting to see what the other structures are revealed to be.

That's just a simple cargo model. I've seen cargo canisters from USSes and Nav sites (NPCs dumping cargo) that look the same, other than it's not glowing green.

What makes people think INRA never stopped? With all the stuff that's been going on lately, it's very apparent that someone behind the scenes has been pulling a lot of puppet strings. Something INRA is well known for. Of course, like the Thargoids... INRA doesn't really exist.

Patience Xdeath, patience! I plan on posting tonight exactly what I have, how I got to it, and the exact system that my map points to. I just want to see the system for myself before I give it to the masses. Call it my cherry on top or my victory lap for the previous hundred plus systems I’ve explored trying to make this map theory unveil something useful, lol.

I’ll either have a valuable piece to the ruins puzzle or one frack’n good story which ends with me looking incredibly idiotic. Either way it should be a worthwhile read!!!! [big grin]

Caine Massey is a local mining company in Chona. Yesterday was there and saw Caine Massey ad. This evening will search the same ad in nearest refinery systems/stations.

May be this is a random ad ... who knows...

Caine Massey. Your local mining company. Also had crates at the crashed Anaconda near the barnacle. And the ones with a UA. We also have had some very strange messages surrounding this mining facility. They are a big enough company to have holo-ads in stations. Yet, we don't see a home system for them in game? Shell company? Working for some other shady secret organization willingly? Or just some dumb miners who were digging up things they weren't supposed to be? Either way, they seem VERY connected to all of this. They have been throughout things this whole time.

Pre 2.2,i had a tip off to go and check out a wreck on this planet in the bubble. Turned out is was a crashed Ana with a box/crate next to it " Caine Massey". Upon scnaning the data point of the ana i got a message which read in the lines of ( summary only i dont remember the exact message as it has been a while) : " The noise , the noise....omg the noise" , which led me to believe whatever the Ana was carrying it brought it down. The crash site was cleaned a couple of days after, since when i visited the site again it wasnt there.

Caine Massey is THE mining company all over the galaxy. FD added these nice advs all around the stations to let us know it, given how much speculation have been done about it in the recent past.

I did not have time to check it, however, to be honest I do not think that the UA drawing the fighters or not is a big deal.
What I checked is the UA morse close to the Alien Wrecks. That could have been a thing, but unfortunately it wasn't.

And, UAs have been brought en mass already on the Relic site.

On one T9, I took a couple of photos of some identification markings. Does anyone here know if these birds belonged to any faction? Is there any way we can determine how old the wreck is based on these birds, their markings, their colours, and/or livery, if any? It'll point in the direction of whether or not these crashes are contemporary in nature rather than historical that are just now being discovered.

Without wanting to offend, you are a little brash with your words. Maybe a little more courtesy to fellow commanders would help avoid these little misunderstandings. o7

Hundreds of people (one of them being you) have contributed to these threads in dozens of ways over the months - such "jokes" don't. CMDR Alex summed it up astutely.

On topic: the Intergalactic Naval Research Arm (INRA) was disbanded after the Thargoid War - and of course, nobody believes that, right? With the recent discoveries we're the happy ho team that's doing selfies in ruins; then again we have the Galactic Powers that are more or less ignoring addressing the subject publicly. Children of Raxxla recently attacked INV Imperial Freedom. While Sirius Corp is pulling the strings, an independent engineer appeals for Ancient Data and no one bats an eye. Then there's the Formidine Rift still unknown. So on, so forth..

We, as Commanders in the game, are not special snowflakes that are privileged to information and data flow in the "grand schemes" (though you'd think Kings and Admirals would have some information others don't) - so we're more or less stumbling in the dark, similiar to current world politics.

To quote Drew about the upcoming book: "Beyond the core worlds, beyond the Frontier; humanity finds the truth is a dangerous thing." (oh hello dramatic new sig!)

The more I think about it the more I come to the conclusion that the upcoming events are where the loose threads (Thargoids, Formidine Rift, Raxxla et al) have a chance to meet up - it might be worth taking off the tinfoil hats for a while and reviewing the other threads on those subjects. Quoting Drew is also not without merit - his books are considered canon and the next one releases Summer 2017. There should be some major storyline developments happening in the game before that, ones that Drew already knows and is writing about.

I started to look at the obelisk pattern, and to me it looks that the animated pattern is always the same,
irrelevant of what data (alpha,beta,gamma,delta,eps) the scan provides.

Has anyone seen a difference or am I right ? (I tend to be carefull not to miss stuff like this
when attacking a problem, so I prefer to ask dumb questions at the start...)

I must say that if (likely) the pattern is indeed a puzzle, it is a rather challenging one XD.
