Lulzbuckets galore :D

I have no idea what they are thinking - and Esperia Prowler sounds like an unsavoury old man in a dirty trenchcoat where he should not be.

Even though I should be used to it by now it still cracks me up everytime.

400 and 25 dollaroonies!

That's roughly six or seven trips to my favourite curry house for the price of an imaginary spaceship in a game that doesn't exist yet.

Bargain!

ETA - I like the way some are saying well it's a bit expensive unless;
It's the best in it's class
It's very good looking
Some other stuff

As if any of that justifies that price for a ship in a game the price of which could buy 10 or more other whole games...

What does it even do?

A space boarding ship? Effective due to being silent? Deploying boarders via EVA?

They'd be better off with a huge shotgun firing underpanted lulzwarriors off into space.

That's some expensive curry. [uhh]

Not really - for three - with beer (for me) - about £50 a time.

Off there shortly :D

Oh, ok. For three, that makes more sense. I was beginning to wonder what kind of special space-grown, crushed-and-mixed-by-holy-eunucks kind of herbs they put in that thing at first.

I wonder how many "enthusiastic" SC backers are reading this and thinking "Blasphemer! That wasted curry money should have gone towards an Idris!!!"

It's difficult to be silent in a vacuum. Though in fairness of course there'll be plenty of times when ships are on constant trajectories/speeds so you can sneak up on them and EVA out without fatal meeting velocities being involved - commandos will be checking their key bindings

I'm just amazed that they have unlimited stock! That JPEG warehouse must be getting very full by now.

$425 dollars for a jpeg ship and people (will watch language) b'd and moaned about the price FD charged for Horizons, and still some do. Amazing what is to high price (Horizons) and what is perfectly acceptable $425 for a ship in a game not yet made.
.
I would wager that some who think FD charged to much for Horizons some of those would think the $425 price is justified if a huge SC fan. Just a guess and I am sure I am right. The same way I am sure if EA was doing what CIG is doing the SC faithful would have a melt down and call them every name in the book (and would be justified), however since it is CIG doing it, it is justified and you just don't understand game development.
