LOL I think this statement speaks against the point you are trying to make.
Does it? How?

No. They're developing one game, with a special single-player campaign sidetrack to get more out of both the engine and the art assets, much like you see from the likes of DiCE and Infinity Ward/Treyarch.
…and was stopped in 2012. It was then restarted, with a new engine and an attempt to salvage what content their could and turn that into a new and pretty much unrelated game.
Does it? How?
i will leave it to you to figure that out.
This thread is great for Star Citizen backer morale, so therapeutic.
You make it sound like a good idea to develop 4 interdependent (mini) games from scratch with no experienced team and no underlying engine.
So, what's taking them so long and why do they need so many people to do it?
What misconception?"They're developing one game, with a special single-player campaign sidetrack"
As you seem to have a lack of understanding of the project I cannot debate your misconceptions.
The subject was that you tried to use FFXV as an example of… something, even linking the article on the development process, apparently without considering what that article actually said: that FFXV is not a good example of a well-managed project, or about the actual timeline of the game that was eventually released.Just ignore the 30 game list I linked, yeah, its much better to focus on .5% of the subject.
So you can't actually explain yourself?i will leave it to you to figure that out.
22nd is slowly incoming this side of Europe - any news bits about PTU updates (l was yesterday) and/or release schedule updates? Just curious. Status quo is lots of crashing bugs and errors still happening for all parts of update right?
To be fair after bouncy radar videos and few minutes of gameplay I saw I am pretty bored on SC. Fair to say though I have never enjoyed that kind of gunplay/FPS style, so just might be not my bag of peas.
No need to. CIG are building the game in the order CR feels is the best order. His order of building said game may not agree with alot of people but I think thats the point of him building his game his way (mistakes and all, delays and all) and others building theirs.
Sorry I don't discuss goon related material outside of SA as I'm from the opinion that "pigs should keep their playtime in the mud" and not bring it "outside".

Being that I have posted my view of an answer to this question i think thats a great question to ask the Q and A section of the RSI forums. I double dog dare you to ask it there?

Being that CIG are developing 2 full games and 2 mini games within a game (AC, SM) and when looking at the history of game development I would say they are right on track.

The development cycle of Final Fantasy XV began in 2006, when it was a PlayStation 3-exclusive spin-off titled Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which lasted approximately ten years.

You missed the point.
He said it was dishonest so I and others offered him an opportunity to show exactly how it was dishonest - but so far that opportunity seems to have been missed.
Therefore we can conclude he doesn't really think it was dishonest.
None of your reply addressed the dishonesty accustaion so we can also assume you don't think it was either.

No experience as a team. Individual experience is of not much use alone.
