I reckon their looking for some modular terminals, damn cheaters don't wanna grind for a Palin meet 'n greet!

perhaps their looking for the chrome hauler paintjob from the 12 days of christmas :)

BTW.. CMDR Josh Hawkins.. Nice job with that video. Most people who have gotten right up on the wormhole haven't even seen anything in it. Just dark cloud.

I got hyperdicked when I was carrying modular termnals (and a UA).. True story..

Awesome view, would Rep you both for it but the Rep Gods won't let me, so have some virtual Rep for now. :)

As noted in Artigan99's video below at 8:42, you can see a beam extending out of the craft which creates the wormhole or portal that it jumps through.

Managed to get hyperinterdicted. I was flying in solo mode.
Got UA from "The Shell" (earlier I tried jumping without UA, around hundred jumps no interdiction), made it to Merope. First jump from there to the random system and aliens came by to say hello. When got control of my ship back I jettisoned UA to see if this changes something. No effect, alien ship ignored it. UA scanned me as usual. o7

Indeed. The beam is interesting in that it opens up space for the ship to jump through. Our drives don't do that. So it seems to be manipulating space itself somehow.

I'm not sure I buy the whole wormhole to a nebula approach. The video shows it bending and reflecting light. Look at the bottom of the apparition. around the ring the light from the galaxy is bent. It is more probably that the Green is just the easiest spectrum to penetrate the obstruction and that the light in the center of the "wormhole" is little more than refracted light from the backing stars. Especially since the lighting matches in tone and color and only appears to one side, but skewed.

Exactly; our smaller ships use FSD Tech and that thing looks like its using Witch Space Drive (WSD) Tech, which only Capital ships and Jacques's Station use if I'm not mistaken.

Has anyone seen a capital ship jump out of a CZ? Does it fire a beam out of it's front to open a portal? I know they jump into CZ's through portal holes, but are the portals made similarly?
