It might be this one:

hold on.... so are you saying the kill 1 ship/skimmer and it counting for 10 missions you have stacked is now fixed?

if so, combined with the insane bug of skimmers counting as pirate ships then "result!"

that said, imo should increase the spawn rate of pirate targets so as not wating around hunting for 5 mins before spotting a lone mission target.
 
Just wanted to stop by and thank the Frontier crew for the Powerplay tweaks. I was not able to personally test them in Beta, but on the whole, they look very positive. Thank you very much. o7
 
You'll need a static IP if you haven't already got one then forward a Port in your Router to 5100. You then have to change a couple of lines in FD's AppConfig file.

I know that isn't explaining much but the info is out there, just make sure you have covered each of those steps and you should be golden!

/Oh, and a wired connection to your Router is a big help too!

You don't need a static IP for port forwarding :)
 
First post, it's long, just making up for lost time. Firstly, thanks for the great works, now and always, much love x

..however.. ;) im assuming the 'big three' armour buff went ahead. A quick look at outfitting shows me my (lvl5 focussed) large Plasma now has armour piercing 151. Id read on beta forum that large weapons were getting armour penetration doubled to compensate for the big 3 armour buff, huge weapons penetration tripled. What im seeing is an increase, but its not doubled, but ok im good with that. (I know PAs have had a bunch of tweaks independently of overarching changes so its fine so far) Having a gander at a medium PA (again lvl5 5 focussed) shows it has armour penetration of 155. That is more than doubled its previous value, and higher than the large PA. Which it wasnt before. And cant be right, surely? Im confused, not overly bothered, i still have great love for fdev, this is unshakable. I am a bit shaken tho. Id thought the reason for these changes was to make large and huge weapons more effective against the biggest ships' hulls, and penalise medium and small weapons by default. I was expecting a nerf on my medium PAs so im still good with this. Still seems broken. heyho. Thats fine though. 'Fdev error in your favour, go straight to go, collect +25% bounty on the next conda' I want Elite Monopoly next christmas please.

.... however .... Large MC armour penetration is still 55 (lvl4 oc) [rate of fire is down from 2.2.02, dps down accordingly (now 26.2/s) incidentally, so theres no offset]
If the armour increase went ahead, then these MCs will now flail haplessly at a conda/corvette/cutter, like attacking a bear with a fly swat. given approx 200 resist, my 55 penetration, actual damage done to hull about 1/4 of 26.2 dps = well looking at the maths, its nothing, multipled by nothing, carry the nothing, divided by nerfing squared, = dead python, or callused secondary fire thumb at least.
Its fine I wanted to use cannons more & im glad im forced to try, but before I rush off to Sargey and get my cannon longrange mods.. is it intended to make MCs a more marginalised weapon from now on? given the two apparent anomalies, medium PA with more armour penetration than large PA, and large MC with no armour penetration buff + dps reduction, does this indicate a monumental cockup or is this the Brave New World for the foreseeable?
Im scared, im also brave, very brave and willing to persist but im still scared.
I guess all im asking is will this be rush-fixed following a lot of panicked scurrying or is it all as fdev intended? Just would like to know before I bin my MCs :) well ok store them in the awesome module storage thing that's great thanks guys xxxxxx

Buuuuut.... I did get the mission message from Ram Tah, when I docked at some station in Mene system. 100.000.000 credits reward if you get data from all anciant ruins. I know where NOT TO GO IN OPEN :x

- Imperial Cutter: 2x size 5"

maybe i miss something or just misunderstand it - but... where is that slots?
I've got a Cutter, but in OUTFITTING screen i can't see a place - where is that slot can be? In weapons - all as was before update: maximal existing weapon's slot is ONE 4 class. Where is TWO 5-th class weapon?

I hope that is a joke... the 100,000,000 bit. Now I know why there was a patch note that said don't allow stacking of that mission...
 
So far digging the update (in the brief 10 minute session I had). Being out in Colonia, I did notice more USS than before (I think)...but I see Jaque still has jack for available ships. When will Colonia get some love with additional Shipyards and ships?
 
Because the anaconda is a combat ship. And because it must, always, be the very best at everything. It's Frontier's golden goose. The python of course isn't a combat ship. It's a generalist.

Ignore that Anaconda is also a generalist that's the best at everything; because it's not. Today, it's a combat ship. Who know what it will be tomorrow.

the conda is fine as it is... except it needs to put on about 600 tons of weight, do that and then the ship will make sense... either that or keep it as is, but the ship has paper thin hull.

it blows my mind that the big snake can out explore the explorer ships, and out combat the combat ships.

but hey how, it is what it is :)

wowsers that is a lot of wedge.
i have not visited them yet... is this a really involved / time consuming thing to do or is this going to be the 2.2.3 money printing mission?

edit.. if that mission specifically says ALL ancient ruins, and it is completable now, then that is a shame, as i guess it means there are no more ruins to be found. unless you paraphrased the mission?

Military slots are (nonsensically) in the core section.
