Guys! I've solved it!
The Guardians are Golgafrinchams. They were on Ark A, and Ark B presumably arrived on Earth thounsands of years in the past!
OK, reading a couple of the data blurbs, I couldn't help thinking:
"Having not yet developed FTL technology, the Guardians constructed three large arks for their first interstellar colonies. Much like the Generation ships in our own history"
Three arks. I wonder whether they sent the B Ark off first....?
This would fit with Rizal's acnestor theory![]()
Just tell us the 14th. The remaining 13 are already transcribed here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...3tODwHQdEnxLoVIj4ceGrpGQ8/edit#gid=1850242339
Take a screenshot using F10. Then you can use the snipping tool, or something similar, to just include the messages. Finally, you can upload those images to something like imgur.com and post the bbcode for the album here (please insideI only see 6 in that sheet, I'm not trying to be awkward, but I have to switch between my game and notepad or that spread sheet for each message, I want to help other commanders with the info I've got, but would rather a more convenient way to copy the messages. since they're in my inbox, is there a chance they're stored locally somewhere on my hard drive?

i posted about that earlier with a screeny of the system, no one seemed interested, i was in that system last night having a quick gander at the first planet and moon and the 3rd planet, the whole system looks very interesting.

If you have EDDiscovery I believe the text is there aswell for copy & paste.Could also load the images into something like FineReader.
Good morning everybody!
I know there is an error in the map but I'm waiting someone to update it. However you can find the map in the spreadsheet as well.
NOW THE IMPORTANT THINGS:
I strongly think that, reading carefully through all the data we found, we already have hints about how to find the other Ruins.
What I take from the data is that this civilization is very similar to us, or perhaps even less advanced, though they have reached other achievements in other aspects of technology, they were not so advanced in terms of interstellar travels.
So my conclusion is that THE OTHER RUINS MUST BE VERY CLOSE TO THE ONE WE ALREADY FOUND. A near star system, OR EVEN THE SAME ONE: EVEN THE SAME PLANET!
Another reason for me to think this, is that the mission has a time limit. And we know that a time limit not goes well with the size of the galaxy.
No need to go to the other side of the galaxy, like some are suggesting, being very wrong IMHO.
Be careful.
This is currently the most Accurate list of Results from the Ruin.

The Ruin does seem to be slightly buggy. Theres a chance that Repeating it will gain you some of the Information.
In my brief time scanning with single objects last night, I got 2 hits:
Casket @ #2 - Hist 8/21
Tablet @ #11 - Lang 8/21
The chart you linked shows these as Relic + Casket/Tablet, so maybe the Relic has no effect on the scan?
Almost 1/3 of my scans resulted in a missing message.
I just tried 11 with just Tablet, no data.In my brief time scanning with single objects last night, I got 2 hits:

"With rocket technology deemed environmentally unfriendly, they developed vast launchers that used electro-magnetic propulsion to catapult ships into space. Breathable gel cocoons helped pilots and passengers withstand the huge G-forces experienced on launch, and served as hibernation pods during long journeys. Having not yet developed faster-than-light technology, the Guardians constructed three large arks for their first interstellar colonies. Much like the Generation ships in our own history."
This would indeed indicate that the colonies are nearby, if we assume these attempts were successful.
I agree, the use of the word “interstellar” implies they traveled to other stars, so very nearby systems only from the sound of it seeing how they were sublight too. However, that barely narrows anything down for us as the ruins themselves are extremely hard to find without guidance. We could have a fleet of commanders searching by their mark one eyeballs for months and still not find anything even if it was right under our noses. We just don’t have the tools to make such a search practical without further clues or information to greatly narrow the search zone down.
Either we are missing something, or this will be nigh impossible.

I absolutely agree on the subject of interstellar and I don't think the planet of the first ruin was their home planet, so I don't expect to find another ruin there. The term "continent" implies that their home planet had oceans and an atmosphere. But don't agree we have to search in the nearby systems, only because they had only sublight travel capability. You have to think about the timescales. It could be thousands of years when the arks launched, so I really expect the other ruins to be connected with the missing beacons in the rift the like.
