On the so called Data Bleed:
-2 Days ago I scouted the alien ruins and got at least 2 of each alien items, and I put them in the cargo of my ship, without making any scan at the obelisks, so I had not data at the moment.
-Last night i decided to start scanning with 2 friends. I joined them on site and while they were already scanning, I was descending from the planet orbit. As soon as I got out of glide I started receiving messages of successful scans. Almost every single scan that my wing mates were performing on the site, as I was approching, was awarding me with a correct scan, even if they were receiving failed scan messages on their own account.
My explanation is this: while in a wing (or maybe just near anothe pilot) each time someone performs a scan, each member of the wing is considered performing a scan on its own, but since i had every possible object combination in my cargo hold I was always getting a successful scan.
After a few scans, the "success rate" started to drop: I suppose this is due to the fact that the actual archeological site is not the only one in the galaxy, and it can only give a portion of the available data (Ram Tah: "Please explore as many ancient sites as you can find.").
So every time that a scan is successful, you get the message only if it's a data entry that you don't already possess... the more you possess the more difficult it became to find a new one.
Then we decided to take turns: 2 of us were staying on the ship with all the alien object inside the cargo hold, and the third one was runnning around scanning every obelisk in the site. Doing this we all got to 11-13 successful scan very rapidly, then the probability of finding a new scan started to drop.
What do you think? Is someone out there eperiencing the same behaviour? Could this be "as intended" or some kind of bug?
