For us noobs, what are the sites/apps used for trading etc?
I believe unlije in real life, the ED version acts like a worm hole. In so much as, if you do it correctly they allow you to go a vast distance faster then light. In movies, one spends a certain duration in a worm hole getting to the other end. In reality it's supposedly an instant. Like walking through a door way from here to there. Movies and video gsmes are not really accurate when it comes to accepted quantum physics issues when they don't actually exist, like black holes snd worm hole. Neither have todate been proven to exist in our reality of space time continum. So, any depiction can be utilized.

Neutron stars in ED have a pair of jets coming out of them, these jets can be used to fill you tanks with highly-concentrated fuel that is the reason for the jump range boost. Scooping these jets, however, is somewhat of an art form as they'll bounce you around and destroy your ship if you *really* get it wrong (heat and eddies and currents, oh my!)

Real life astronomy always depicts "Black Holes" having streams of some sort extending from them. Unlike black holes, nuetron stars are real, but no streams.
basically neutron stars give your frame shift drive a 200% power boost, making jumps of up to 600lys possible. white dwarfs on the other hand only boost by 50%, and if you use the EDSM and look at the map and find the neutron highway route it makes some journeys take days instead of months

Are there any good video tutorials on this? I've used EDSM for looking up different systems, but I haven't stumbled across a map of all these systems (or neutron stars for that matter). It's probably right under my nose.. I would love to look at systems of interest and see where they are compared to other systems.
okay in EDSM go to the galaxy map, and there is a white button in the top right corner click on that and it gives you the neutron highway routes and a fair few other POI and stuff

There are webs that helps you to find trade routes. I did not know if those trade routes were only valid for PC or they were also valid for PS4.

I saw a video the other night of someone slipping into the neutron star wake and jumping. Didn't seem that difficult. But hey, nothing does when you're just watching it on YouTube!
