I suppose the question is, does it come from any of the other ships and is it there every time? It certainly sounds interesting, not sure if it's really insect like or if we just want to hear that. We are used to Pareidolia here ;)

If it's what I think it is, they are common. They are essentially satelites like the ones we have now, orbiting planets, and they are consistent afaik. You can use them to get some data for Engineers.
Pretty sure you found it near a populated ELW, as that's where they are placed.

I think the most scientifically pertinent questions about this video are:

- Why have you still got Christmas trees up?
- Why have you got three Christmas trees?
- Why didn't you get a fourth one or a second station so that it's symmetrical? You're driving me crazy here...

Seems kind of sloppy for a clean up team. Ed Lewis said in his broadcast after finding the wreck that all the crew was dead, so I guess we have to take his word for it. Though there was extensive damage, much of the capital ships looked intact though. Maybe they release a biological agent that's toxic to humans. <tinfoil>

All good questions but to be clear it's not MY video, it was posted to reddit. [noob]

(They do say Christmas decorations go up earlier every year, he may just be ahead of the curve.)

Was thinking of making a 3D model of the systems found to see if there was a rough pattern to them, seem to recall one of the data bits saying that the site layouts follow a pattern, and that where the guardians went followed a pattern. Is this worth doing/ has someone beaten me to it?
Feel the whole guardians thing has been a bit of a flop. yeah found some cool looking sites, both the mini and mega sites) and not some nice cash for visiting a good number of them, but aside from that its all been pushed to the wayside.

I'm expecting the pattern data you get along with the info data when scanning the obelisks at the ruin sites will be used to engineer our weapons and defenses to give us a chance against the thargoid ships. It's been ranked along the same five levels of engineer ranks since the beginning, which they didn't need to do if there were no plans to use them in engineering in some form. It's been a while since I've messed around out there too, but as I recall some believe that the thargoids themselves may have been created by the guardians as a biological weapon, or something along those lines. Who better than their creators would know how to exploit any weaknesses?

Looks like the same signal we decoded. After reviewing it is the same. You can slow it down 90% or look at the spectrogram to get a better idea of the message.

It's UNKNOWN VESSELS DETECTED. SERVER PURGE FAILED. SHIP ASSETS LIQUIDATED. PAYLOAD DESTROYED. SHIP STATUS LOST.

Are you sure? Doesn't seem like it can be to me, for reasons others have already said.

For a specific example, I make the second word to have only 7 dots or dashes, whereas 'VESSELS' has 19.

Here's an audio file of it (it misses the first couple of dots or dashes from the first word, but the rest should be there. Second word is from approx 2s to 3.5s) :

I was using the spectrogram at the same time as the audio when I did it, and I also used another version at a different speed alongside as well.

I've typed out the first section of it using the spectrogram in Audacity after cleaning up the signal a bit (noise reduction, compression, etc.). I haven't done all of it because I was able to get UNKNOWN VESSELS and felt satisfied that the whole thing was correct.

Edit- Okay, here is the whole thing typed from the spectrogram. Minus spaces between words, that is. The first letter I might have clipped off when trimming the audio file.

Love it. There could be a grand grand irony on the way here:

- The guardians create the Thargoids
- Thargoids destroy Guardians
- Thargoids encounter humans
- Humans create Mycoid to destroy Thargoids
- Thargoids survive and repurpose Mycoid to destroy humans (perhaps in the UPs?)
- Humans learn how to defeat Mycoid to protect themselves (MAs)
- Ad infinitum

Or something.

I found something really wierd in (or on?) the Federal Battlefield, it is so Strange that you might dont want to look at it.

Its a Battle Worn but not damaged Condor! And his pilot is missing!

Well my Guess: FD Dev Forgot to put damage on it.
RP Guess: Where the heck is the Pilot, looks almost like a Ship lost this Condor on accident.

To be fair, i dont know what to think about the whole Battlefield there, when thargoids interdict you, you are out of power, infact when there Get out of hyperspace you are out of power too.
So how in the world did the feds manage to Start these Fighters? And why ALL ships just standing still ... Like they stopped and ... Died ... Why non of them have Hardpoints deployed? (No Rp: Welp the Static Condors dont even have Weapons lol)

So many Questions ....

the pilot thing is that I thought the ship launched fighters are holo me piloted- hence why you don't lose your crew when it gets exploded

Thargoids send out probes to find other advanced life to help fight the AI
Thargoids find humans instead

Biological weapon created and used on Thargoid ships
Thargoids forced to retreat
Alliance gives aid to Thargoids in finding a countermeasure to the biological agent?
Thargoids begin to return to normal space
bad blood still exists between the federation and Thargoids

A new war looms?
AI is drawn to the chaos and begins wiping out all organic life

I believe the lights on the ship the private data beacon is also flashing morse code, it may be the same message I have not been able to write it down while watching it.
