It's not the garish ship skins for those cruise ships I object to. It's the lack of matching uniforms for the crew!
It can look threatening and sophisticated at the same time

See, this is why the Elite Store needs better previews, Roostrat's pics show much more detail than I expected from the store pictures. That looks even better than I thought it would. I think I'm going to buy this paint pack.

Isn't this really about those who didn't get the black Friday skin when it was available? :O
For someone like that I would probably use Tactical Graphite (or more likely a more military oriented ship).
However, there is the point that such a paint job would add a degree of obscurity, after all who would expect a mafia boss to fly on a seemingly regular commercial flight.

Yes they are serious. And the tragic news is, its completely unneccessary to insult the dev team if you dont like certain paintjobs - simply vote with your wallet and FRAKING DONT BUY THEM.
I was waiting all the time for a dolphin paintjob to go with my beluga united paintjob - and voila - I just got it and I'm happy with it.
(See what I did there? Instead of insulting the dev team, I voted with my walled as well - but in the other direction

Hehe of course.. since they are tourist ships it only seemed the right thing to do to park them in touristic or services space stations (the ones with palm trees and parks etc..) to get some fitting screenshots.
Those stations seem to have a rather neutral white/bright lightning..
Above screenshots taken in my HQ Station M. Gorbachev in Sol.
I wouldnt recommend taking pictures in industrial/military stations - those pictures will only scare away my potential customers. :-D
The green is that glossy - at least it looks like that with my graphic card - I didnt touch the colouring on the screenshots.
It was a straight "printscreen" to jpg and then upload to the internet.
