i already have a physical copy of ED for the PS4pro. I already own it on PC (secondary CMDR), and XBoxOne (primary CMDR).
It installs, and you may or may not link your profile to an existing account (which i did).
This is of course without the DAY1-Patch.
It works to the point, that you may play all of the training missions and challenge scenarios.
The PS4Pro-exclusive Option to switch between "Performance" and "Quality" is not there, yet. So i have no Idea which mode is the default.
Overall performance is similar to the Xbox One experience, however it at least feels much faster to deploy the SRV or SLF. There is no real loading or waiting for the sequence to start.
(just tested in the training missions).
What is, at the moment (again: pre day1-Patch) kind of annoying, is the screentearing. Especially in the first training with the asteroids, it is quite obvious to the point of "really annoying".
That can be noticed best in head-look mode, where you make the head movement with the PS4 Controller.
Regarding the PS4Controller : the implementation is quite nice, and i like this already much more than the XboxController. If you come from the Xbox, or Xbox-Controller, the transition is quite naturally.
Overall, and that is of course my own personal perception, it runs a little bit more fluent on on the PS4pro.
I tried to capture the screen tearing with my phone, and i switch back and force between PS4pro and Xbox. It is (much) more noticeable "live" than on the Video:
