My ships are never ideally set up because I need a cargo rack and cabin for RP purposes. All my ships NEED at least 8 tons of cargo space and at least a size 2 economy cabin. Exceptions being the Eagle, ImpEagle and Courier (but usually have them anyway). This leaves my ships severely handicapped for PvP, albeit forcing me to git gud.

Makes sense. My combat ships agre generally just for combat though. The FGS is specifically set for combat in Res sites as it uses force shells and I make a big effort at knocking people against the rocks. In open space, at best it gets opponents to miss a shot or two with their plasmas.
The only combat specific builds I have with cargo are my Python (64 tonnes) and my Viper. The Viper is a pirate ship and the Python is just a mission runner I like to test builds on.
Usually it just costs me some HRPs or MRPs. Small price to pay to ride first class with tons of beer, drugs and guns.

No, it's not done. There are still six prizes left to win before July 9. During the week I'll be on here and there, but will keep more regular hours the next two weekends.

The intro pf the post says it will finish in july 9th.
You should start your own contest after Urion's runs it's course. That was a brilliant idea of his, and it's exposed a desire for PvP amongst players who might not normally be interested.

While I'd be happy to 1v1 you, Harry (or more accurately...get rekt by you since I seem to be on a losing streak), SDC are ineligible for the contest as stated in the rules. You all are free to haze the crap out of me afterwards, though...I'm making freshman mistakes out there.
I think that's why I keep seeing condas...they have the jump range to make the travel irrelevant even full combat fit.

Yeah, Oddisee is SDC and crazy good as well; just haven't seen him in game for a long time.
I think he came out of retirement just long enough to rek me a couple times. Made me feel special.
