Buddy: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#safe=off&q=3.0+schedule+report+&spf=1500655538939 again ignorance to communitcation doest mean communication didnt happen. It just means you didnt know about it. The world doesnt revolve around you.

I'm really not sure if you're being deliberately obtuse...
The schedule report you lovingly link was created after step 3 of the aforementioned list. At Gamescom 2016 they said they were aiming to have 3.0 out by year end, then sometime in January (I think?) told us they'd almost finished planning what would need to go into 3.0. "Wait, what?"

The community's response to that was what made them go "errrr... oh dear, we'd better give them a schedule or something!"
So they gave us a schedule, which has been consistent only in its ability to slip. But that's OK, because they're apparently pursuing "aggressive deadlines" for ... some reason. Aggressive enough that features keep getting cut along the way, seemingly.

At some point I'm sure they'll actually release an approximation of 3.0 - only seven months late (and counting...)

Ahhh - the mighty Star Citizen Schedule - guaranteed to prove the vast amount of content that CIG have been working hard on is so fidelitous, innovative, immersive and amazing that it will take the known world at least two more weeks to prepare for what they said they had completed two weeks ago.

I don't quite see the relevance of you posting a general google search for the current 3.0 schedule report...kinda passed me by. What Sleut is correctly stating is the well (non)documented imminent 3.0 release promised by CR himself, on stage at Citizencon/Gamescon in 2016...and the subsequent silence from CiG after it's non appearance.

All this is real, he's not making it up [squeeeee]

I don't have any beef with CiG or SC...in case you assume I'm not a backer and subscriber....just like most of the folks posting in this thread...but what's real is real and this isn't Spectrum...

Everything they say will be in 3.0 will be in 3.0. They are 100% transparent.

What a completely meaningless statement, given that they keep changing what they say will be in 3.0. It's the same as people claiming that 3.0 clearly hasn't been delayed because the latest revision of the schedule says it's still a month away. Never mind what previous versions said.

So, basically, whatever ends up in 3.0 should be considered to be what was planned all along. Ignore everything they've said and shown prior to that.

They are 100% transparent in their revisionism.

I still can't wrap my head around that a game publisher has the audacity to ask hundreds of euros for a single computer game spaceship. And that some people pay it.

Oh whoops i must have hit open in new tab: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/schedule-report

They werent silent. They were clear about the delay and why and what caused.

Except we kept saying it ain't going to happen at the planned date, and CIG vehemently said otherwise, and the SC fans said otherwise. But hey, why bother with facts. SC is basically a faith now.

Well until the lights go out. Which at this point is a very real possibility. But hey, lots of SC backers would be cool with that too.

Really? Have sources for that. Thier schedule shows they have no problem announcing delays. Way too many ED fan boys in this thread. You do realize its NOT illegal to own to space games at a given time right? Star Citizen is exactly where every other AAA title is after 4.5 years. They are hiring new employees are making very clear progress you can see in the weekly ATV. To say this game isnt going anywhere and isnt going to release is a statement no one actually believes.

Ah yeah, even the original starting year gets delayed every year. [haha]

Chris Roberts in 2012:"We started a year ago."
SC fans:"They started in 2013!"

[haha]

This is the ED forum complaining about ED fanboys here is a bit like standing in a lake complaining you feel a bit wet.

Where did you get 4.5 years from according to Chris Roberts development started in 2011, and was meant to deliver a game in 2014.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-3YBuFI3iI&feature=youtu.be&t=24m10s - 3.0 announced as the end of a year release.

Your turn, please find an official source from 2016 saying that 3.0 won't be released in 2016. Anything will do, really.

Star Citizen is exactly where every other AAA title is after 4.5 years.
Wrong, AAA titles aren't buggy tech demos after 4.5 years. COD: IW was released after three years in development. Mass Effect 3 was released after roughly 2.5 years in development. Hell, even Fallout 3 was released after 4 years in development, and Bethesda usually takes their time.

To say this game isnt going anywhere and isnt going to release is a statement no one actually believes.

Wrong.
