I'm itching for my DK2 - Ordered at 2:14 PDT on the first day; Status is still 'Ready'.
I can only think of three things...
1. Change the camera to a powered USB port (at least a different port)
2. Update firmware again
3. Disconnect TrackIR
4. Try plugging in the power supply to the rift
Success using the great app from http://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/2c6qqc/updated_unofficial_oculus_service_manager_by/
The only extra thing it seem to do (which I was not doing) was to kill the Oculus configuration process. (OculusConfigUtil.exe - Oculus Configuration Utility (32 bit)).
Now, to help the boss set up her yard sale, then full dive into the game is all it''s 3D glory ... once I stop gawking at the (almost) sense of presence and vastness of space!
And Thanks for the help!
When you say calibrated the rift what exactly do you mean? (glad you are enjoying it BTW)
Spent a couple of hours this afternoon trying the TrackIR 5...
It arrived the same time my riftUP came and then the DK2 showed up ten days after that, so it hasn't exactly seen a lot of action!
I imagine if I wasn't already a Rift addict id be pretty amazed by it, but as it stands I am morethan
But it does allow me the luxury of appreciating the game on full graphics with a decent frame ...

How on earth? I have a new rig with 780ti and get no where near those frame rates at 1080p on my monitor.
Hi guys, having a problem with the Galaxy Map using my DK2, can't seem to select stars to bring up the info on that system!?
I'm moving around the map with a combination of the mouse and one of the hats on my X55 but clicking on a star does nothing!
Any help/tips would be very welcome![]()
It's not really workable in the rift... I can't reach the panels with mouse...ticket already submitted... Someone suggested using a xbox controller, but haven't tried this myself yet
