someone will give you the right number for sure.

The record is something like a hundred, but it takes some effort to do.

sorry, don't understand.
effort from whom?
is there any game-design limit how many real players can be in the same system?
many thanks.

There's no hard limit, but under normal conditions the networking breaks down after a couple dozen in an instance. (Not system, there's no limit on that).

People who know how to work the networking system can carefully add more and more people to an instance while keeping it stable.

Can you survive getting caught in neutron stars? I have been on this journey from the beginning... just blew up in a neutron stars tail( or what ever it’s called) 10 jumps form kashyapa.... gutted! Can you survive this situation when you drop from supercruise and are still in the blue trail?

Sorry to here that. But yes you can survive. If you are within the exclusion zone waiting for your FSD to recharge use heatsinks or it gets a bit toasty, try to aim away from the NStar and jump back in to Supercruise.

I've had this happen to me a few times, not realising I'd dropped from SCruise and been stuck in the NStar's trail wake.

That's exactly what happened to me too! I had to respawn 9000 ly back at Rohini. I feel your pain. I managed to get back into supercruise and then my canopy blew. I just about cried. Have avoided neutron jumps ever since.

That’s terrible mate, same happened that I just had the supercruised charged- trying to align with some escape vector and then horrific cracking noises and bye bye cockpit canopy.... sad sad times!

I’ve always read of the dangers but presumed (as many people do) that these people must be noobs etc.... then boom! I sit here now... red faced.... telling myself what a noob I must be. Literally twitchy every time I get near a neutron star. Glad I had got passed the crucifix- or I would probably have never faced it lol!

Neutron stars aren't too bad once you know how to approch them. You probably know this already but. Keep the NStar selected and more than 0.25ls away from you and head towards the ejecta cone thats closest to you, then turn into the cone so the star is behind you, cut your speed to zero when entering the ejecta cone (should look like a swirling tunnel once inside). Then throttle up after you get the FSD Boost message.

It's actually easier to do than to explain. Just keep an eye on your distance and the NStars position on the Scanner.

I'm in route to the Dove Enigma with 120t of Meta alloys. Is it still needed? I haven't heard anything new about it.
I took off as soon as I heard it was needed but with work I could only fly for around an hour a night so I should make it in either this evening or next.

When I undocked from it yesterday, it look like everything was normal.

I'm also on the way there with a second lot of Meta alloys. They're not strictly needed anymore but I thought I wouldn't allow the gankers to get a second chance just before the expedition arrives. So I'll still drop them off. Should be there within an hour or two. :)

Good deal. So the more that is delivered just goes into the ships stock so it's harder to take down again right? I'm making pretty good time myself. I just recently got my FSD engineered up to G5. I'm jumping 50ly with my 120t and 61ly empty. Much better than my first couple trips out to colonia.
