Where is the "you have to face consequences for your crimes" pro PVE'ers argument now ???
Read post # 86 for one. That message has been sent throughout a number of posts in this thread. Not reading, and looking for tears makes you look desperate.

This thread is embarrassing.
All it does is bump the suicidewinder up a couple grades though. And to certain folks ( myself may or may not be included ) a lesser boat like a Gunship, FDL, etc's insurance payout is pocket change at this point.
For the record, I'm not "that" guy. When I turn my guns on another CMDR I have reason to. Even it it's murder, it's because I watched some stick jockey jack some poor noob up for a 200 cr bounty. I will intervene, even if the odds are not in my favor. And to hell with the cost. That's my RP for the dayI can kind of see what they tried to do to band-aid the seal clubbing. But still a swing 'n a miss imo.

Maybe there's something I've missed, but my understanding is, bounties are now tied to ship. So, could you not just make a designated hot ship which you use for running these missions, and when you want to trade or whatever you just switch to the clean trading ship. Then there's the problems that several missions make you wanted by necessity. Who would do these now?
I don't think it should go back to the way it was, but it really needs some work and was rolled out prematurely.
Does there really need to be a bounty on modules? A bounty on your ship should be enough. It's overkill.
I'm having problems paying off bounties at interstellar factors. It's obviously bugged.
Friendly fire needs an overhaul. Some mission objectives should be excluded like scanning data points if no hostile action is taken on your part.

Modules used in criminal activities certainly need to be connected to the crime, if the ship is. Otherwise, you could just swap hulls, as if nothing had happened.
Ship? Yes.
Hulls? I'll accept that, as they can cost more than the ship. Even throw in the core internals like powerplants, distributors and FSD.
Heat sinks? Cargo racks? No, that's just stupid.
They were all taken advantage of while committing a crime. The cost to 'clean' a module is relative to it's cost, so the price for cleaning the cheap bits, i.e. Heat Sinks and Cargo Racks is negligible. When I wrote 'hull' I meant the initial cost of a ship.
But what if I didn't deploy heatsinks or carry cargo during my criminal escapades?
That's really my biggest concern about the new C&P; it seems like FDev have spent so much time trying to fix the various existing "loopholes" that they've ended-up with a bunch of arbitrary "rules" rather than any kind of actual system.
