Always.
What is precisely the point? When considering how to develop a game well you think a game that's had a disastrous development is a better example than one that's been a success? Don't ever run your own business.
Try actually reading my post and respond with something mature.
Just objectively look at what's been going on...
They've had to completely remove 2 mission types recently.
CQC is a failure. Can't get a game.
Multi-crew is a failure. No-one uses it.
The new CG is a farce. The station doesn't have enough spaces so people are floating around aimlessly waiting to dock for ages.
Beyond crime and punishment and engineers changes haven't exactly been met with overwhelming support (this isn't an invitation to debate either, whether you like it or not it's at least split opinion).
They had to completely jettisone the seasons releases - meaning people who paid exorbitant prices for all the paid expansions have, 4 years later, had one and could justifiably be asking for some kind of refund.
I want this game to be a success but it seems like they're going to have to invest a bit of resource to get it back up to speed. Is development resource possibly being diverted into Jurassic World? It feels like this beyond update has been given a fanfare when really the changes are, although welcome in the main, fairly underwhelming.
You're misinterpreting what they're saying. They are saying Star Citizen is in even worse shape than Elite.

Its a great game, with so much history.
however, ignoring DBOBE, when you look at who is making it, you get experts in Kinectimals, rollercoaster tychoon, etc.... seriosly, look at the devs linkedin prfiles for the games they have done.

I'm not saying It's a bad game or that I'm quitting.
Kinectimals have been touted as biggest remption for Kinect if there ever was. Kinect 2.0 was used by Zoo Tycoon which was impressively good looking game with life like animals.
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 has been seen as living as classic, shift copies even today, and have ensured Planet Coaster success.
Seriously, if your goal was to diss on developers, you failed spectacularly.
Noone should feel under pressure in general. Its not fun.![]()
His point is that none of that is relevant to ED. I can be a great cook, but that is not a good reason to make a Formula One mechanic.
In game development what is revelant is your professional skill.
It is like claiming that good director who directs comedies can't do horror. Good pro will do everything that will be thrown at him or her.
