Updated me and Burzum to green

Getting o lot of chromatic aberration (is that the term? So halos on some text and hud elements.

Check the 'dials' on the sides, do you have the lenses in as close as possible? I had the same issue and pretty much resolved it by 'dialing' the lenses out to about the third farthest position. (Don't forget to update oculus config utility with your new setting...)

My bad, I saw the bit about waiting until the last moment then saw you mark it green so I assumed you actually had it. Obviously my interest in your DK2 is because mine is the next in the list. Should have a newsletter soon, that might take your mind off for a bit.

Well, had a bit of a play now and I am impressed. The resolution is so much better than DK1 and it makes a huge difference to the immersion. That and the positional tracking really make you feel like you are there. Not sure why but you also get a much greater sense of scale, Aulin Enterprise is simply gargantuan!

I am almost tempted to reset my save just so I can start again and experience the Bata from the start in DK2

Very pleased so far. Anyone with DK1 on the fence,; if your PC is up to it, do it

It's the pc up to it but that is of course an issue.
I have an i7 3820 and 32gb RAM, but it's the GeForce 670 gtx 4gb that is going to be my bottleneck.

Alas I am not sure about chucking £500 at a new gfx card... Well, more my wife is less enthusiastic. Anyone overclocked one of these bad boys or similar to get it working well enough?

Green is shipped/received

It seems the positional tracking bug I had was because of Aero! Somehow I had turned it on again... So glad to get it working again!:D:D To bad the no one has the Saitek Rhino in stock until September :(

I got mine sent from US... Took two data to get here :)

I got mine working. But the view is still blury. I feel theres like a really narrow spot on the lenses that clear and everything is blury. Is there anything that can be done to fix that.

Yeah, with the DK2, I need to have it sitting higher up on the cheek than the DK1 to get a perfect non-blurry image. I suggest tightening the straps to be comfortable, and then sliding the headset higher until you're looking up at only a slightly blurry image, then let it settle into focus on your face as you let go.

Odd, I found a greater focus sweet spot once I moved the lenses closer to my eyes, less chromatic aberration as well.

I think it is all about finding the sweet spot. And remembering to re do all the calibration stuff (IPD etc) once you have moved it. Also see my post a few pages back on calibrating colour in nvidia control panel. Fixed a lot of issues for me
