I said originally that commenting on these nonsense threads was generally best avoided. Point proven I think. There seem to be well mannered serious people at the top of EGU, who genuinely think our grievances are misplaced. I will gladly listen to these people. That is where this matter will be resolved.
In many ways I am disappointed that Al Tarf has shown her true colours, as I exposed early on. It says nothing good about the judgement of EGU leadership that they would have her as their "diplomat." Paladins have been in out in patrol, in Open, for more than a few days. We have not seen any EGU pilots, NONE AT ALL.
We did encounter some non-EGU PvP aces, hat's off to them for their crafting and skills, but we engaged them. How they came to represent EGU doesn't matter because we met honorably on the fields of battle.
The hyperbolic and flamboyant remonstrations being put forth by EGU should be taken as what they are, propaganda, and I doubt that it's being taken as anything other than that by anyone that reads these pronouncements.
The EGU action on the field has to date consisted of an ambush, the engagement of outsiders, and continuous BGS attacks hidden behind SOLO and Private Group.
That the Paladin Consortium is not liked because of past actions is a point taken, The "why" has been discussed widely in the Forum for anyone to read. Everyone can draw their own conclusions. As an independent, autonomous pilot who is also a Paladin, none of those past actions affect my current regard for my fellow Paladins with whom I interact on a daily basis, and that includes members of the current leadership. Mistakes may have been made but lessons are learned from such instances.
To be perfectly clear, I do not speak for anyone but myself, but if EGU wants to prove what its "glorious" propaganda is furiously trying to promote, EGU pilots, NOT SURROGATES, need to come out from behind the curtains and prove their mettle in Open.
By the way, if a gauntlet is thrown down in SOLO or PG, does it make any sound to anyone else?

This is really simple. EGU won't play in open. That type of cowardice in a video game is reflective of their psychology in game and real life. EGU is hiding their actions from the rest of the player base in ED and making claims. Today it's PalCon, tomorrow....? Hutton maybe? It's made up bull clearly and anybody with any sence can see through this childish . I can't even imagine what kind of frightened little character would be like if I meet them IRL that can't play a video game without some fear of losing. This EGU player group is clearly weak and that shows their motivations for starting a thread on this site, crying cause they are scared to lose and are looking for sympathy. I can't believe that pilots in game would fall for this manipulative trash at all. It's in black and white and read all over this thread, EGU is a bunch of lying manipulative and scared little girls trying to fool a player base, just like Harry Potter did during the Seleme event.

If you come to a system that has an opposing ethos to your group and the MF that is already present has had a single Cmdr supporting it from launch,,, Lets say they only get a few hours a week and have always supported that faction and strongly consider the system their home, Would you bypass it if asked and it did not interfere with your expansion? Or must you conquer all in your path?

Our faction has great respect for any groups involved in the BGS. But it is the groups officially registered with the FD and having a registered faction (EG Union or Paladin Consortium) or having a long history and a site, marking in bases that this is a faction of players, an example of such factions may be the ICU playing for the in-game faction Nagii Union.
The esteemed Sentenza commander does not fall under any of these categories, although he sees God he is worthy of respect more than some nominal fractions that have neglected their development.
As in life, you can even declare yourself as the Lord of the World, if they notice you, they may laugh.
As for if EG Union falls into such a system.
Firstly, we carefully plan our expansion and choose where we want to expand and where not. Accordingly, before each expansion, work is carried out to close or open certain systems.
In case of any unforeseen situation, we have signed agreements with other factions of players, which repeats the contract presented in the first post in a word. Which on our part we strictly follow.
On our embassy server there are dozens of factions, with representatives of whom we discuss the issues that have arisen. As far as I remember, the behavior of the leader of the paladins, this is generally an extraordinary case, usually the heads of factions or diplomatic representatives are clever, well-bred people, with whom it is simply pleasant to talk.

Clashes are fair game - if you choose the way of the warrior, you live by the sword and die by the sword. But not everyone can play fair. Some people are born with more than one face. And sure we will see more of this.
