please be Friday news... please be Friday...please be Friday...please be Friday...please be Friday...please be Friday...please be Friday...please be Friday..please be Friday...please be Friday... Maybe this weekend we'll be celebrating...
Friday is Good Friday and Monday is Easter Holiday in the UK, so don't expect an update today or Monday. So my fault there, being stateside, I completely forgot about those sort of days in the UK.
I am awaiting engineering to parse the sheet and send me a list of all of the rejected, and approved PMF's. From what I can see, there's a preliminary listing of the factions to be processed, but will hold off on posting that in favor of the approval/rejection lists (please don't PM me - i've been bombarded with hundreds of PMF requests over the months to where i can no longer respond in a timely manner (and filled up my quota (10000) for forum PM's already)). With that being said, this addition process may happen before a 3.0.x update or the 3.1 update, which may not include your PMF description right off the start.
Thanks for the update Brett C.
Can someone please clarify for me, as i am positive i have seen this somewhere, PMF will be rejected if the the chosen systems already have 7 factions???
If this is the case then i cannot see ours being accepted as all 3 now have 7 factions. I cannot see anywhere in the submission thread, anything that states this. The problem with this, as others have stated before me, is that when you make your application and there are 6 factions you have no idea when the application is looked at to check it meets the specified (or unspecified in the case of the 7 faction limit) criteria.
I am, and others are unwilling to spend my nights running BGS missions to keep the faction space open from the moment of application untill acceptance 6 to 12 months or longer down the line. My point is that if that faction space is lost to another faction in who have expanded into your system at the same (unknown) time that FDev are looking into it, then i'm afraid its a big fat REJECTED

Rip I forgot about good Friday being a thing too...
Brett, if we get a rejection notice, could we please have a turn around method or period, because resubmitting and back to the back of the line is really a killer....
I recommended this (deferral status rather than straight rejection when the reason is systems being full) some time ago but received no feedback from Frontier. When dealing with misinformation of what is a max number and huge delays, it is the only reasonable way to deal with this.
It was not an issue of system full or not, but more of a "must match allegiance". Many people did interpret that as a native faction has to have the allegiance requested. So, thinking so, we submitted a nearby sys to expand from, but the faction MUST control that system.... Also, I was then told we could "import" a faction with the desired allegiance into our target system.... say I want an Imperial PMF and none is present in the system, you can expand an Imperial MF into it and make it control it to qualify...
Such a BUMMER. If i knew, we would have done the BGS for it and run home....
So, this is all going to fail because rules are so cryptic and vague....
Hi folks, a small update, currently looking at around 40ish factions (this may rise on the final pass) that are going to end up rejected according to our first pass done by the dev team.
Before I get more PM's and bombarded with people wanting to know: I am awaiting a list of approved and rejected minor factions.
Can the rejected factions re-apply immediately?
Thats a worrying number
