Player Groups and Minor Factions - General Discussion

Hi I Have a few questions, with PMF if i get my pmf in the game what control over it will i really have? or will i have just as much control over it as a npc minor faction? meaning is running missions blowing enemies up expanding into other systems, will it be just the same except the name i choose and description?

and also, Ive seen pmf that no one does anything with they are just run by 1 player and that player left the game what happens to that pmf? and if you have no control over the pmf and it acts like a npc faction could i just take over an inactive pmf? or if you do have more control can you still take over an inactive pmf?

and last after all systems have pmf in them how can anyone else get a pmf into the game?

All PMF's are treated exactly the same as NPC factions. So yes, effectively players only give it a name & description and select the system where it appears. That's not to say it won't change in the future. I personally do hope it does and we get some more "guild/clan" like mechanics in the game + more integration between the player group (community) and their PMF in game.

There are so many systems that I doubt we have to bother even considering that scenario, let alone plan for it

Brett,

None of the systems we, Torval Strategic Services, applied for are now acceptable. If I submit another PMF application now will it get rejected because of the current one or will the current one be deleted & I start again at the end of the queue?

What WW2 smell?, I am ex-british forces (retired) and served many years in Germany and has a matter of fact now live here. There is nothing offensive or gives any inclination of WW2 at all.

Lots of US forces served in Germany, had dependents there, and enjoyed it. It's a nice place to be assigned to.

Hey @brett_C, if you get a chance, could you check on faction : Angels of Death ? Curious as to if there are any hiccups, since members have been waiting since last year for an update( I understand with beyond and 2.4 things can get busy, so not intended to come across rude).

Hi folks, still awaiting some news on my end. Had a minor update on the spreadsheet today, however the lot of it was a bunch of developer dark magic tagging that I don't know goes to or does what. :x

At this point in time, I won't know the status of your minor factions status until later tomorrow or next week. I know, i keep saying next week, we're working on it.

As a note, there was a few minor factions that were lost in the ether from a previous batch, I found them, re-added them to the batch to be processed.

Your respect and patience is greatly appreciated at this point.
