Can someone please tell me what's going on here? Is this some sort of bug, limitation of Stellar Forge or intended? I'm a noob explorer, have gotten the other two Elites, be patient with me.

Genuine oddity. Second neutron star in the A system is also an instance you can jump into, B. Duplicate in Stellar forge, or parallel dimension if you will.

Ah hehehe I've been there, I think. There was some cryptic clue about a binary pulsar before the first crashed alien ship was found that had us dashing all over...

And yes it is buggy and weird.

@mpfj I'm almost 2k ly away now, but that's not an asteroid belt, confirmed by the name.

@rudi hey man, I said I'm a noob explorer. Also I've had to drop one heatsink when leaving a planet surface already, and I'm only 5k ly into my trip!

Exploring in a Beluga, you need all the heatsinks you can get.

Does it heat up with low emissions mod also while scooping? Its been a while since i last flew Beluga but is it that bad still?

Since you have scanned the System, you can Show the map even if you're not there, by selecting it in the galaxy map. Nice to see the Systems you have first discovered including your Name without actually travelling back there

It's not the heat while scooping that's the problem, it's leaving High G worlds. Any time I land on a planet with more than 2Gs that's a heatsink written off. Top of Grade 3 low emissions is what I have in there, I still overheat flying away (no boost) from a High G planet surface.
