Also seems to be a place where derogatory attitudes against those of us who accept that its a game, and one in which youre allowed to shoot other people are allowed to exist unmoderated.

If you have a problem with moderation or specific moderators you should contact Brett C, or another member of the community team.
What you shouldn't do is make slanderous comments ,alleging bias when mods make decisions you don't agree with; that's just trying to rubbish all moderators and claim the victim role.

Most PvPers won't touch the frontier forum with a ten foot pole. The reason I'm here is partly out of habit, as I was a solo/group pve explorer and smuggler who thought PvPers were evil, real life terrible people for the first year and a half of my ED career, so I became habituated. Since then, my scope has broadened considerably, obviously.
Now, like Francisco d'Anconia from Atlas Shrugged, I remain behind in a crumbling world to look for bright prospects who can be lifted from the ruins and taken back to Galt's Gulch. Basically, trying to salvage what talent is possible. It's depressing and sad, but I'm willing to do it because every once in a while I find a Goose, or a Phisto Sobanii that makes the sacrifice worth it.
