...I can also confirm that Globusdiablo is an annoying griefer...

This may be helpful information. If you post a provocative post, chances are it will provoke people to post, where they might not have if you didn't. For instance, if you whine about whining PvEers, some might take the opportunity to point out the irony.

Don't poke the carebear :)

Your ability to entertain is bordering on annoying. Mad skillz.

Even a properly outfitted t7 wirh engineered shields and boosters alone will survive any attack, but it should not be able to fight back.

You are asking for a semi trailer to be equal to a tank in a battlefield, doesnt make sence.

A t7 would never be any good in combat anyway. Phisto's FdL with 38 tonnes of cargo could prove a handful though.

I don't want to make a semi trailer into a battle tank. I want to remove the current ability to turn semis into tanks and turning tanks into super tanks, by filling up their insides.

I don't know and I don't care which approach is more realistic. It does not matter. Gameplay trumps realism anyway.

In addition to creating more interesting scenarios, it would give all combat in ED some pace. This is sorely needed.

I’ve seen it. It’s an example of how broken the idea of intenally stored defensive hitpoints is.

The semi is more tanky than the tank.

But surely the argument remains, that even a trade ship can be transformed into a killer PvP honey trap by a skilled cmdr.

Edit: sorry for going off topic. I've already said what I wanted regarding this thread. Retreating.

Frenoxt has a mining fit t10 that would fit that description. Absolutely deadly to the unwary. Heck, it's a handful even if you are wary.

My T-10 is not the way it is because of crazy defense stacking, though. I have 4 shield boosters, 1 MRP, and 1 HRP (my two military slots). Despite my ship appearing to be a huge armoured brick, a chieftain with a shield, an AFMU, a MRP, and every other slot stuffed with HRPs has nearly DOUBLE my effective armour (after considering resistances).

Defensive internals fitting in regular optional slots doesn't even make a wealth of sense. I stuff a brick of armour in what was my cargo hold, and now my whole ship is sturdier? If FDev made sure that all ships have at least one or two military slots (possibly bumping up the ones that already have some by one or two, too) and made it so they were the ONLY place you could put structural reinforcement and SCBs, the game would be far better off.

while you are technically right, asking for pvp expertise in a game like elite dangerous is like asking for culinary expertise at a mcdonalds drivethrough.

there have been indeed a few passionate pvp'ers doing a serious and commendable effort with the game. even through all the noise they are really not that difficult to spot, but it says more about their goodwill than about the actual possibilities of the game.

bottom line, if you want quality pvp discussion best get a pvp game proper.

It's not "technically" anything.
You are not making any sense.

Just because chess exists, doesn't mean that some checkers players are not more qualified than others to give checkers advice.

I was speaking more to the fact that your ship is kind of a "honey pot" in the sense that an unwary ganker looking for an easy kill is in for an unpleasant surprise.

This comment is just another example of a player with no interest in PvP trolling the forum.
