Modes Elite Dangerous PvE vs PvP and who needs a Solo play if you had PvE server

If you don't like using Solo, then don't use it.

You're not competeing with anyone, so play the mode you enjoy.
The whole idea of a "performance meta" is a prison of your own making. No one is forcing you to play that way but yourself.

It gives us a game with some interesting mechanics and unique possibilities.

Actually you are, because everything you do in open impacts Solo players.

Yes, I chose to pursue my objectives first and foremost.
This game have money. Ships cost money. PvP practice cost 6 mil per rebuy.

True, this grind can be done only to catch up to people. There is no outstanding gear.
That brings us to... Why would you care if I gain more space peso for my risks?

It's not the cash side though, it's the impact on the BGS that getting that cash leaves.
As people in PGs and Solo feel that impact in their games.

*Cough* PVE.... PVE is socializing.. many people working together, doing things together, never firing a shot at each other...

plus that has NOTHING to do with the game

While Solo grants you an untouchable solitude Mouse, Open let you wide Open to others....

As I said, I am not sure what to do here.

Maybe with Q4 and all those sqadrons and stuff, things will change.
Territorial control is not inherently bad, and as long as PvP factions cannot affect PvE ones, or at least could not do so without help of the other PvE or PvP faction respectively, this system might just work.

Horse hockey... again... Back Ground Simulation.... all are affected by everyone else no matter WHAT mode you are in... the ONLY difference is in Solo it is just your PLAYER ship and no other players, in PG's it is how many PLAYER ships you let join or have joined, and Open where PLAYER ships are there without having to join a PG... Only thing you can't do to someone in solo or even a PG you are not in is the SAME THING you cannot do to someone in Open who is in a different instance than you... PVP them...

All factions are PvE.

Players do not own and cannot directly control any faction.
You cannot sign up to a faction, you cannot have that faction listed in your scan info.
Only NPCs own factions.

Even the factions Frontier let players name, still belong to the NPCs.
Mobius does not own that faction with his name, SDC do not own the faction with their name.

There is no "PvP factions".

And this might change with Q4. And I belive that would be the only course of actions if we ever to answer this question.

I may lack in game PvP skills, but here I am the forum PvP King.

;) lol.

No, you just ovestacked defence. Your weapon choise is lacking, as all you PP goes to power up dem Prismatics and 8 boosters. :D
