As much as Allosaurus is one of my favorite dinosaurs, she really has no business seemingly being larger than Giganotosaurus. That fact that Spino's profile was edited to change mentions of its size is really disheartening as well. I want to believe Frontier is listening and wants to change these things, but some higher power is stopping them. coughcoughuniversalcough

Frontier changed the text in the Spinosaurus and Giganotosaurus' bios about them being the largest theropods to exist. Enjoy Tyrannosaurus rex being the largest theropod in the game, everyone, because size changes are not coming at all.

I was excited to hear that allosaurus was coming to the game in this Fallen Kingdom patch. I haven't seen the film yet so I didn't know what to expect; but now that I've seen the model, I have to say I'm disappointed. Don't get me wrong the model is aesthetically nice, but the snout doesn't even remotely hint that it's an allosaur.
Yeah just 2x as big as it could get in reality... only dinosaur that almost rivals T-Rex according to universal and frontier.
lol this is a bad joke i rellay dont like those frontier guys first they say we see what we can do about the size problem....so this is their solution haha just changed the text and problem solved
and if universal really is behind this then they are really stupid they change their lore left and right first they say spino is bigger they cant delete that its in jp3 and now all of a sudden rex is the biggest carnivore in jp lore? iam so confused
To be fair, Indominus rex is the same size/slightly larger in the game.
My game still says that Giganotosaurus was atleast as big as Tyrannosaurus Rex, and still says Spinosaurus was he largest ever theropod

No they’ve not fixed it the Allosaurus is as bigger than the Giganotosaurus aswell now!!
This argument starts to sound ridiculous all the time since it is always used as an excuse for mistakes and less accuracy in the dinosaurs. Even in the movies the huge majority of the dinosaurs looked and behaved as normal animals!

First of all this Game is Based on Hollywood Movie Monster Theme Park THEY never meant to be accurate or anything at all.....because if then no one would even roar or anything......ITS based of a Book-Movie!! Even if the Trex could fly who cares its from a movie its not meant to be accurate, its there for entertainment.
Oh and in fact there is not one Giganotosaurus that is bigger the the Trex specimen Sue(12,4m)! Trex is heavier and bigger! there never was a rex over 12,4m and neither a giganotosaurus. (most stuff is only based on fragments which can lead to very false assumptions(very typical in paleontology its 90% heavy speculation) as wee saw in the iconic Walking with Dinosaurs documentation from 1999.
most of you guys could outran a trex with easy since it couldnt even run if it would it would have broken its bones!(talking bout an adult 7-9 tons) however juveniles were fast as hell from hellcreek. It was a ´´fast´´ walker with enormous endurance.
Rex a very big one was 3,6m - nearly 4m tall at the hip. If you ever saw a skeleton in museum you clearly see its pretty much 2 times a human at the hip(im 1.85m so yeah lol, i mean Tristan specimen in Berlin). so 4,5m tall when head is up at absolutely MAX.
Spinosaurus yes they said so in JP3 but it was no way meant in that way just like dude it sounds bigger you know.....nothing more. And even if who cares? im seriously curious.
And if you compare the spino to a guest then you see how perfectly in size it is for what it is.
BTW the JP Trex is oversized VERY!! If you saw the Videos about the animatronic head you see it clearly its way above 2m the skull alone! in reality 1,50m at MAX most of the times its smaller. That again because its a movie, i mean you saw the velo?? its barely bigger then a dog in reality again spielberg found velociraptor a great name so they based it of a dynonychus which is still way smaller then the velo from JP in reality.
Cerato to big not really since there are more then one species of ceratosaurus and one is just asbig as an allosaurus. Allosaurus to big not really there were allosaurus that were just as big as tyrannosaurus lenghtwise of course.
So please tell me (im really interested to understand this) why is this sooo important that i see it all over the forums everywhere? Most of you guys have absolutely no clue about Dinosaurs at all. And when some start arguing then the discussions feet is well i heard that giga was 14 meters a really well then show me the published paper from a paleo. Easy as it is guys and most documentations are also wrong and false ON PURPOSE! (You know it when it starts with t rex that killermachine nonsense just as an example)

LOL this thread is absolutely filled with people no clue about dinosaurs theere were 12m allosaurus whats the deal dude? the biggest rex was 12.4m . also no giga was ever larger then any rex so far. and spino is 98% heavy speculation. Also its jp not a documentation if they feel to make a raptor bigger then rex then its that way its a hollywood movie. rex was bulkier but not really longer then a big allosaurus.
