That you interpret the Don Quixote metaphor as an insult says a great deal about your education, Cosmo. Google it. Read. Learn.
That you think it's okay to call people names, says enough about you. Try to learn.
I challengeyou to show me where I insulted you. You having hurt feelz is not the same, btw.
But go ahead, tilt at windmills some more.
Some people don't consider Don Quixote to be a compliment. That may be difficult to process for you. Also people don't appreciate it when you tell them they can't comment in a thread anymore, or make jokes about "headshots".
"How Good" (objectively) a Game is certainly ISN'T linked to how many current players it has...
Still LESS how much YOU as an individual enjoy playing it...
It's a niche market title (if it wasn't there'd be OTHER Space Flight/Space Combat games out there on the market
It's also 4 years Old (a lifetime in Gaming terms) and getting older...
So player numbers aren't going to be high...and they certainly won't ever get any higher...
Doesn't mean its not a good game tho'
Yes ED is a niche game and more than 4 years old. Niche genres appeal to much smaller crowds. There's a lot more games with more active players after 4 years. It doesn't necessarily determine how good a game is. However, based on the Mixed-Reviews on Steam, ED isn't being praised that much either. So like I said, to make it appealing to a broader audience it should become less of a niche game where we can't get out of our chairs.
