Mode has nothing to do with it, for the simple reason.... the method is available IN ALL MODES.

It's more "I don't wanna do that!" than anything else you're advocating. To which I simply reply "why is your game more valid than mine?" The answer of course is it isn't.

Everything to do with it son. It's 100% of this games problem when it comes to multiplayer.

You change the label on a system. That's it. Nothing changes except (possibly) the enabling/disabling of Black Markets and Search & Rescue.
There's nothing you can do in a system that's under the control of a faction that you pretend to be associated with that you can't do with any other system.
You can call that 'territory' if you like, but you're basically no more than a dog urinating on a lamppost.

As for the PMF in my 'home' system. It's mildly irritating, and symptomatic of FDev's lack of concern for the majority of it's playerbase. Happily, I didn't form an irrational attachment to having a particular label on that system, so I'll just move somewhere else - it'll take an hour or two to get allied with the factions there, after which my gameplay will be unaffected.

Maybe, just maybe, if you could get your head around the concept that other people play the game differently to you, and find enjoyment in different aspects of it, you'd be able to understand why your constant demands of "I want to shoot you" are unlikely to be met.

There is really nothing to wrap my head around that I already javnt.

Do they want to make the things they added to this game work and features used? Then you put everyone one on the same playing field so it works.

If they want to make their game work. And stop bleeding customers they make changes for that to happen.

The modes issue will go. Like it or not.

The game works fine.
Introducing organized gank squads is going to bleed customers even faster.

How's the mode thing working out for you with PP?

Aye, and the best he can do is toot his own horn on the forums and Reddit.

Full of hot air, and naught else. Although he claims to have some sort of "knowledge" his claim has been made for a little over a year since he's played this game.

Like many who bought the game thinking it was something else- he didn't research it beforehand, had buyer's remorse and now haunts the forums demanding some sort of results for his perceived slights.

Well with the closing down of the carriers Q4...you still going to keep riding it? Or you going to head to greener pastures.
