Yup blame those pesky Americans as usual! You Europeans and Aussies are all angels right?
The griefer is on the pad?
No Indigo, I'm not going to enter into a discussion on equal terms with you, as if we're both reasonable adults having a thought provoking discussion. One of us is being rational and pointing out that griefing and ganking in ED can be a move, but it's still just a game, and not only that but a game that literally promotes these activities...and one of us is comparing griefers and gankers in ED with serial killers and mass murderers as if it's the most natural thing in the world to draw these comparisons.
You aren't sounding right in the noggin, man, and I'm glad that there is (hopefully) several thousand miles of Internet cable in between us. I think anyone who would draw these comparisons needs specialized help.
I will preface this with: Yes, it IS a game, and no actual, physical, harm is done.
Mate honestly how a person plays a video game has zero meaning to how they are IRL. If you play a character similar to yourself IRL that is your choice and can't be used as a benchmark to measure others. Video games are a way to let off steam and enjoy ones self, how a person chooses to act in a game in order to have fun doesn't relate at all to them being a sociopath.
That’s the second consecutive statement you’ve made in this thread that makes absolutely no sense.Adding
"I will preface this with: Yes, it IS a game, and no actual, physical, harm is done."
does not make any of the subsequent posts any less ridiculous.
I think it might make them worse!
Really? Sounds to me like you’re just strawmanning. Had a few too many tonight?

First of all, I wouldn’t really care one way or the other whether or not something bad were to befall some rando in a videogame IRL. There are over 7.5 billion people on this planet, and I honestly don’t give a rat’s about 99.99% of them. The same can be said for most people, including you I’d bet, so stop feigning offense like a millennial.Nah man, no strawman. I called it pretty darn accurately, no matter how you want to look at it or how Indigo wants to straddle the fence or "reel it in." He's the one comparing ED griefers and gankers to real life mass murders and serial killers in this thread and suggesting that real world damage should be inflicted upon them and you are the one cheering him on. Just own it, man. No need to dissemble.

Secondly, where exactly did Indigo wish ill will upon anyone? Please provide a link, because I didn’t see it.
I mainly recall you spewing insults. Nothing overly intelligent or implicating.I've already written an essay on the topic. Go back to indigos "knock em out" video post and then read my 3-4 responses.

These are, I suspect, the same sort of people who think “The Knock Out Game” is either a game or funny.
Equivalence, yes. False, I think not. You, Goose, and Jason are just getting bent out of shape because it portrays you and your ilk in a somewhat unflattering light. Deal with it.It's the false equivalence.
I don't think anyone made the claim above, which makes you the one clutching straw methinks.

There never was any pretense. I’ve made it quite clear what I think, both here and in past threads on the subject. Being a bully on the internet is, to me, just as big an issue as being a bully IRL. The difference is that on the internet, there are fewer consequences. That’s it.Thanks for dropping the pretense, Brian.

Your posts keep getting more and more poorly structured. It is false, he says so himself, that's why it's even worse!
LOL
Where exactly did you see anyone claim this?
He "hedged."
