I have to say I was slightly puzzled by this comment.

More Detailed AI Activities – we’ll add ten distinct types of AI character roles on planetside environments! At $54 million, this includes Bartender, Doctor, Entertainer, Nurse, Sanitation Worker, Security Guard, Shopper, Tourist, Vagrant and Vandal. Future AI roles will be added with future stretch goals! Each additional ‘class’ of character will be fully expressive and have a role to play in Star Citizen’s planetside interaction AND the game’s greater economy.

I would have though a decent variety of AI characters in a game where according to CR they will outnumber players 10:1 was mandatory - not a stretch goal.

That's the real scandal here: ;)
Introducing stretch goals was key for making even more money. So what better way then selling mandatory elements as stretch goals?
Meanwhile FD delivers a really amazing game without cheating their fan base. ;)

Sounds cheap?

ED: 400.000.000.000 star systems -> Would require more than 400 billion $ for SC backers to get something similar!
I guess CR would have to ask for the yearly pentagon budget for this! ;)

Then wouldn't your stretch goal amounts for buying a star system, the universe and alternative universe be incorrect? :D

But this was about selling stuff to players, whereas stretch goals are about implementing them in the game: ;)

You guys can make all the jokes you want about the size of ED vs SC, with CR its allways about quality and not quantity, give me 100 detailed worlds over 100 billions of copycats with different skins.

These will be living and breathing citys, not ant-colonys looking all the same.

Its a great fealing to enter your hangar and admire the objects you gathered, then walking to your ship, open the hatch, fiddle with the controls, or maybe lay down on your bed and look to the stars, inviting your friends over there with you to experience that will be a blast, and thats why the Constelation was such a big deal, its the flag ship from Star Citizen, that´s why CR hired Ryan Church (Star Wars, Avatar, Star Trek, Transformers etc) to design it.

Constelation represents what CR wants primarily from Star Citizen that makes it more exciting than the ordinary game for most of the backers! Multicrew Playing!

Being able to "live" in your ship with your friends, having a crew just hanging arround, telling jokes, adventuring and all that stuff.

Thats CR DREAM, and its shared with a LOT of people in what is just the beginning of the development, funding will reach much higher values, im looking at that 100 million $$ mark with ease!

Own a 300i myselft and it feels tiny, despite being huge, i like to walk arround it and inside it, being able to see every detail.
