Well with the new FSS in 3.3 it should be pretty easy to check for UAs.
Mmm, perhaps they’re moving closer to their objective...when they’re stacked 12 high perhaps we’ll find what they were supposed to be pointing at on 5C.

Couple of tourist beacons around 5c (they may have been there already?), probes found 4 barnacle sites on the surface itself. I'm no scientist so haven't looked at the body data but nothing stood out as unusual.
I found it coincidentally yesterday on a trip mapping the whole system. So i searched for it on the web and found your post...
they could do more out of it i think, they add content but don't develop on it really...
That's exactly my point. There weren't any in my usual haunt, and I didn't spot anything else in the Beta, only NHSS. The shell was a known thing, so no point hiding it,, and everything else that we've seen is still there, so I guess the shell doesn't exist anymore.
I doubt they were "Normal" Sensor spawns though. Any NHSS were an interceptor could spawn can spawn Probes and Sensors against the "typical" rules for spawning those types of USS. There's also a "known issue" where NHSS which should normally be Interceptors *only* spawn a probe or sensor.
Probes were always:
- Threat 2 USS spawning IVO an ammonia world in the Pleiades
Sensors were:
- Threat 4 USS spawning 135-150LY from Merope
- There were two or three reports of these USS very close to Maia, just before the patch which introduced the UA "shell". It's believed that these USS could have spawned in any system within 50LY of Merope, and the patch had that "blow out",,, due to the similar volumes covered by a 50LY sphere and a 135-150LY "shell"
I don't know about the Thargoid sensors(UAs) shell, but some while back (when v3 dropped) the NHSS bubble increased from 150 LYs to 175 LYs.
As far as we know the Thargoid Structure bubble has remained at 150 LYs*, but TBH, AFAIK anyway, no one has looked for more beyond 150 LYs. Even looking (eyeballing planets/moons) for unconnected sites within 150 LYs is very time consuming (upto v3.2), so the search for more has been at a low level.
Once 3.3 drops though, the hunt will be back on!
The 1st stage will be finding more suitable candidate systems (see my thread linked in sig), I've been doing that recently (as have others already) within the 150 LY bubble, once we run out of systems there (which haven't been scanned for EDSM), then we can move further out, although I'm sure some will move further out before that .
Anyway, thought it was worth mentioning that lot.

So, I just spotted this in the squadon/mining livestream. Warning... spoilers.

Most intriguing is the port icon (i.e nothing)
Everything else in the livestream, whether planetary or space-based, has an icon next to it (Even Federal Capital Ship) and also displays a leader... so possibly a new asset which still needs work.

So... I read that just now... I can't help but feel it's somewhat retcon.
Take a read of the Colonia codex entry... it's as if Jacques being loaded up with Unknown Artefacts never happened, including the visions he had which were highly comparable to halseys.
What do you mean by port icon? Locations?

Have been wondering about this apparently broken storyline for a while. Perhaps the Club got to him in order to hold back any knowledge of the Guardians until they were in a position to corner the market...though AEGIS scuppered that plan by funding Ram Tah distributing his findings via tech brokers.
Well, speaking as a member of the tinfoil hat community, since the information in the Codex is still being filtered through the Pilot's Federation (just as our GALNET feed), can the information in the Codex really be treated as gospel? Or is it rather more suspect than that? It seems to me like an easy way to control the discussion. "Oh, you think that such and such event happened? Well the Codex says it didn't, therefore you are wrong." Since it's a persistent record, it's even better at controlling the narrative than GALNET.
