Distant Worlds II - Fleet Roster Sign Up Thread

Plus I'm under the impression that FleetComm still allows everyone in, as long as they abide by the rules while there.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is an incident or two, just due to the size and public nature of the event. But any single commander's chances of being in the same instance at the same time are low.

CMDR SLBA, reporting in

Hi all,

Commander SLBA reporting in from the hive of scum and villainy that is Xbox One, requesting permission to join the expedition.

Currently returning to the bubble from some exploration in the core in a 64ly AspX Jump Box fitted for neutron highway travel and surface exploration, hope to have a 'Conda equipped for very long range cruises with repair limpets and a fighter bay by the time the expedition starts.

And, yes I did not keep my personal link :)

My CMDR name has changed from Arand to Fandomlife. It doesn't bother only in so much as it causes confusion for fleet organisation. Can it be changed?

Wonders how many Asp Explorers on the fleet roster will change to Krait Phantoms....

Probably a fair amount. Likely more Krait Mk IIs than AspXes though. We already saw a ship shuffle when the Krait Mk II was introduced. I wouldn't be surprised if the Python surpasses the Krait Mk II once 3.3 goes live. The Orca will likely see a huge increase as well.

What's happening with the Python?

Nothing, other than gaining another internal slot like every other ship. A lot of Krait Mk II pilots are immediately going to change to a Krait Phantom, so the # of Krait Mk IIs signed up is going to drop dramatically. The ones who stick with the Mk II will primarily be taking it just for the SLF. The Phantom outclasses it in every other regard. The interior looks better too.

I'm in. Just getting that Guardian FSD booster to get me above 60 lightyears.

Cheers,

Drew.

I was hoping you'd sign up. Was tempted to mention it on Twitter but figured you've been very busy with Lords of Midnight. :) Your ship's a little rusty!

Hey, you're back with us, great! :)
The "us" meaning E: D players & explorers + forumites (and/or each, take your pick :D).

Sporting an Imperial Clipper, I presume? ;)

The poor old "Lady Jane" (Cobra above) has been relegated to minor ferrying duties at present. I have prepped a new exploration ship, an Asp Explorer in 'Black Apollo' called the "Dream of Eulexia" (Eulexia is the Wagar homeworld don't you know! - You can visit the main station "Mad J Wagar's" in that system ;) ) which is currently out in Guardian space somewhere.

DW2 will be her maiden voyage, although I'll probably do a little shakedown cruise first. Pics in a bit. :)

Cheers,

Drew.

Black Apollo paint? That's a nice one. My AspX was had that paint too for a long time. But when the Wireframe became available, I just had to switch. :)
