Shippy is the First Mate of The Code, and one of the most well known pirates in the game.
He will not be keeping it ‘low’. Instead he will keep it ‘high’. Very very high.
I’ve been busy, but evidence to crush all of your claims is coming.
I think I might do a 44th Vulture Railgun hit montage. The finale will be the Railgun hit to Xious’ face that won the first round. That was FUN.
Also, once we are done with he League (we are still in it you see, as we crushed AA a week after crushing 44th, this time in dense ice Rings with mostly fixed weapons, who knew) we will be glad to fight in your sore losers bracket and crush you again.
who is CODE anyway? has anyone actually heard of them before?
scrubs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Wait, wait, wait...you won using ferdies with gimballed multis and you think you're hot stuff!? ROFL What a joke! Yeah, your "superior skill" is why you won. Hahahaha
Using technology at hand to expose the weakness of your opponents is called tactics. Small ships are hard to hit with fixed and if I know they dont use chaff I will equip gimbals for more TOT. How is that a joke? I use turrets on "fire at will" when it gives me an advantage, why not? Packhounds, you bet. Does that make me a scrub? It makes me a smart scrub.
Lol make whatever excuse you want but gimbals and turrets are for scrubs.
And here children we see a gaggle of Commanders engaging in the ancient rituals of Space Bushido. Watch as they hurl insults at each other!
We’re so lucky to see this fantastic example of Commander behavior in the wild like this.

Chaff anyone?
Chaff anyone?
That's the funny thing - they all brought double chaff, which gives effective immunity to gimbals. And yet they still blame the gimbals, and not our fixed hitscan, because that would require admitting that we can aim....
The 44th didn't come up with the "gimbals are for scrubs" thing. Yet your "fearless" leader seems to get triggered by the mere fact of me pointing out the obvious: that you won due to:
A) Flying ships with bigger shields, hulls and more guns.
B) using a majority of gimbals (chaff is useless if enough gimbals are on you)
C) refusing to go for a location giving us a slight advantage, ultimately balancing the whole Medium vs Small ship thing.
And all I am asking for is a rematch in icy rings.
If you guys want to be b***hurt about me stating you won due to gear and location and not overwhelming skill, no problem for me, there are enough people who saw the fight and might agree.
If you had a little decency, you'd admit that the reason you wanted rockies and used gimbals was because it was the only way for you to win against us.
But I'm not mad, I'm not even triggered by Fly calling us sore losers. We lost, you won fair and square by staying within the rules, nobody is questioning that.
Not wanting to give the opponent an advantage might be even called skill in some way, who knows...

I read that as superior strategy and tactics. But I'm interested in your opinion: in a 1v1 match of FDL vs Vulture, similar skills, doesn't the FDL win every time due to the advantage in firepower/shields/hull ? IMO you guys (the 44th) put yourselves at a disadvantage from the start.
Overall good response from the leader of 44th.
In a 1v1 it all boils down to skill and tactics. in terms of raw power, an FDL will win most of the time if the two pilots are of equal skill. it's all a matter of "luck" or rather psychology. If the Vulture pilot is capable to exert pressure to push the FDL pilot for mistakes, the Vulture can win. It is also a matter of location. A Vulture will have an advantage in dense asteroid rings since its low profile and superior maneuverability allows to stay closer to the rocks than an FDL (mass/drift factor).
We fully knew we would gimp ourselves. that's what Harry Potter/Besieger asked us before our first match, if we are sure we wanna do this in Vultures.
The answer is yes, of course we know we put ourselves at a big disadvantage, but it still was fun for us and a way to see what we need to improve to play in the bigger pond.
And tbh, we will do the same thing again next year.

If it works, it works.
If both are built for dueling, almost always.
Things get more complex in wing fights, but a Vulture wing will generally have to have flatly better pilots and/or superior coordination to best an FDL wing, no matter where it's done.
