Dangriswold, dropship is a fine mining vessel. It's what I use usually. I have bigger ships but dropship has that industrial feel and look that I think is appropriate for mining in dangerous places.

Are you doing deep core? I might give that a go, although filling 360tons is about as long a session as I can handle.T10 for me, highly recoommended.
I've just kitted my AspX for core mining, figuring it would be a good starter over my Python in case I do something dumb like blow myself up. Not the greatest cargo space, but the hardpoints are placed nicely. Once I get comfortable with it, I'll probably go back to my Python.AspX![]()
Vette?

They used to say the Clipper was a very good mining ship; but that was before all these 'Python' clone ships came out.For large pad, Clipper. For med pad, python. For small, either Cobra IV if you've got it, or Viper IV.
Vette?
There are two non-locked ships: The Python, and the Anaconda.
Try this Challenger build for DC mining, with hold full of void opals 40mil +?

I notice you have a Refinery on board you loadout.
Do you still need to refine the new stuff from core mining or do you keep the refinery for standard mining?
How are you with the T10 are dealing with the offset sismic charger and sub surface? I am always struggling finding the target, because they are far off the center. Will turrets work better on the T10?
I'm liking the T-10, can mine, jump, defend, murder. Good all round lump a chubby metal
