Yes I would also still prefer an option not to use the fss.

Just in case, in that environment I’m absolutely certain i would use both.

While flying is great, if a system would extend beyond one play session I’d very likely god mode click cheat it to finish it up rather than leave it to the next day.

Most likely the threads are kept open because its a useful holding pen for those who like circular arguments and might stop or at least minimize the opening of new threads on the same issue.
