Aw, come on! You don’t really expect us to believe you can’t map 3 axes and a bunch of buttons to a HOTAS for using the FSS, do you??
Those controls don’t interfere with standard flight ones. Just use the X and Y stick axes to pitch and yaw, the stick’s Z axis or the left/right paddle on the throttle to the tuner axis, two buttons for zooming in and out, two for fine zooming in/out, the honk button and the exit button. You don’t need anything else.

It’s actually more complicated to set a functional control scheme to drive the SRV IMHO.

I’ve been using this arrangement simce 3.3 droped and it is getting easier to use, but the pitch & yaw is too slow. We need a sensitivity control to increase, it seems if you use mouse for this then that’s got a sensitivity control. HOTAS discrimination again!!!

And the hink is still there-just map the discovery scanner to a control & use it when you arrive in-system!

Ah, thanks Spock! Might have a go in encoded emissions sources too.

Shame about the DW2 start; got to the first system then kept crashing out......will try again tomorrow to get to Shapley 1

Indeed. I kept getting back in and kicked very quickly afterwards. In solo right now actually. Might try the PG again soon.

It's starting to feel like i'm gonna end up being one of those old men at the local starport's pub telling you how everything's connected to Raxxla while emptying bottle after bottle of Lavian Brandy.

It is, all, connected! From the very beginning. Human problems. Escape velocities. Thargoids didn't want a war. It's all so veiled now.. uh... I'm going to need another evil juice.

No probs, i should have paid attention, said galaxy was indeed right in the axis in the galmap, i just had to switch to realistic view.

Nothing wrrroongg with that!
hic. [blah]

I tried several times in vain so gave up & watched the livestream. Even that was having internet problems, as well as OA ‘s game crashing out every few minutes.

And the voice comms were unusable! Couldn’t get the wing voice option up and discord exploration channel had over 80 people, many talking at the same time.

Well, it's indeed must be connected.
I won't really be that much surprised if that semi-new narrative about disapperaing people (not really new in itself, but new development of it) will somehow be connected too.

Indeed. There have been ships lost in space before.

There are 2 separate issues, afaiu.
1. Ships going BOOM entering hyperspace (Like Starship One). That part of a story, as to why that happens and what exactly happens - is one question to explore.
Considering the experience former president had during Starship One incident - might be in some part be connected to RAxxla search. Or at least has some unexplored part.
2. People disappearing, while everything else stays intact. There's one surface site which had that happen, there's that yacht from recent galnet article, and also i've heared that one of generations ships had the same thing happen.
There's no indication as of yet for what happened, how, and how it is connected to anything at all.

I'm going about exploring nebulas in my exploration quest to figure out how to figure out where raxxla is. I think I may have stumbled across something odd.(possibly not) I was setting up bookmarks on systems I could travel to to jump straight through nebula to see them in witchspace. I could have missed something, but the bookmarks around one of the nebula are now not on both sides of it. It may be one without a second location to jump through. But is it possible the nebula is moving?

I think 1) is related to Sirius Corp nastiness, politics and/or early/research fsd failures, and 2) is related to Thargoids gathering humans for experiments/training (read T.James’ “Out of the Darkness”)

First is undoubtly related, in a part they their tech is a source of what happens.
But what exactly happens to people during such events is another story. Should look closer at what former president announces at Galnet. Thugh she's been quiet for sometime about her experience.
Also, considering Sirius corp is likely cleaning loose ends after those incidents by silenting people (you know how they do it). They are definitly hiding something. But what exactly?

As for second - Thargoids taking people out of ships or land bases, leaving ships intact? Not exactly the way Thargoids work, but who knows, there are at least 2 factions of thargoids, and we've met only one as of yet.

No, they don't.
At least not with speeds you'd notice on galmap.

I keep thinking Raxxla is an easter egg. Nothing related to in the GalNet. As long as the "there will be no clues" thing is still valid, of course.

The best way to see the wreckplace at Tionisla is to approach it from the Sun (a reasonably safe thing to do since Tionisla, being a Democracy has few pirates in its system). Tionisla itself is a bright yellow world, and the cemetery is always between the planet and its star. As you fly close, the whole strange graveyard seems to be expanding from the circle of the world behind.

Interesting thing about the Tionisla graveyard ... really the only way that it could always keep itself between the planet and its star would be if the graveyard exists at the L1 Lagrangian point of those two bodies. That means that someone with much better math skills than I could conceivably calculate the precise location of the graveyard.

Well ... I guess there would be ONE other way for the graveyard to always stay between the planet and the star. It could be truly gigantic and form a giant ring around the star that shares an orbital plane with the planet but that would be ridiculously large and would probably require the graveyard to be comprised of more ships then those that conceivably exist within the game universe.

Concerning the diappearances: Had my first hyperdiction by two Tharg Scouts on saturday night. Got pulled from hyperspace, was treated to a shutdown and then scanned. Could the hyperdictions be somehow linked to the disappearances and are those hyperdicting bugs the same we have been fighting all along or do they believe to the other faction?

Most probably at the lagrange point and you can find it just aproaching the planet from the star. It’s not in the game though.

What is hyperinterdiction. Is that getting pulled from a system to system jump? How and when did that start happening? And if so where did it occur?

1. Yes you‘re being pulled from a system to system jump and no you cannot resist being pulled out.

2. Not sure when it actually started. The forst time I heard about it was when the Gnosis was hyperdicted on its way to Cone Sector.

3. I did scan the wake echoes with my wake scanner. Collected some data but did not get a message about where the Thargs jumped to. They did not attack, just did some scanning. Had no AX weaponry aboard my clipper so didn‘t try shooting them.

4. Happened in Pmeiades Sector two or three jumps out from Delphi.

Yes. They began almost exactly two years ago. They suddenly just started happening for no apparent reason with cmdrs being pulled out of hyperspace by an Unknown Ship and having their ship be disabled and then scanned before, for reasons as unapparent as those for the initial hyperdiction, the Unknown Ship would simply leave. The first was in Aries Dark Region IIRC.

Of course, the reports of similar sounding occurrences far from human occupied space many years ago were only discovered afterwards...

Has anyone considered raxxla is in a binary star system. That poem says something about lost lover or something potentially implying dual something. Are binary stars rare. What are the rarest things in the game to check. It could simply be in that. The game mechanics in this game are a bit obvious when it comes to purpose. Rare produces better from what I've seen. Might be the easiest way to find it.

And I have yet to get a hyper pull yet. I'm near aries going toward bernard. That is where all the thargoid non human stuff is so far. Tones near maia. BTW, any chance looking through a black hole to something like nebulas might give away secrets. I notced stuff in the system shows up normally through the lense. And stuff outside the galaxy like other galaxies is in another layer that only shows off in a myst looking away from the black hole when near it. Other things do show up in the lense though. Had a weird layout of 4 stars in a box in MAIA, but I couldn't get it to line up with the black hole lensing. Not sure why. I might have done it wrong or it seems to turn into 2 stars. hard to line stuff up. I may have had the wrong objects.

I was wondering if there was a black hole to line up all those nebulas going to bernards nebula. MAybe look at them like a planetary alignment would. Maybe the black hole lets you travel at that point or warp with supercruise.

Has anyone tried to gather the location of these hyperinterdiction and triangulate an origin. Maybe it has a center point.
