Now, im all for sci-fi tech and all that but unless a character model is strapped down into a chair they should damn well fall straight into the windshield of the cockpit if a ship stands on it's nose as whatever gravity plate tech they have should not be able to handle that.

I mean, just look at star trek and their fancy tech and they fall all over the bridge whenever someone pushes the brakes a bit too much.

"Magnetic boots"

From what i gather, you can still stop a ship in mid air while pointing in any direction (nose down, flipped over, whatever) and it will stay put, which means manoeuver thrusters are still overpowered..
Still seems like improvement to be honest comparing to the previous FM.....I didn´t yet tried but from what I see inertia looks more believable....tho ships turns slower its still looks clunky&fast.....

If ships can hover upside down a few feet off the ground, does the super realistic wavy hair flop downwards? Or are CI selling in-game Harmony hairspray?

People definitely cannot walk smoothly with mag boots, much less run, and certainly move like accelerated Benny Hill characters like they do now, or jump around flying down entire flight of stairs, etc. So either they have mag boots, and they move like in The Expanse (slowly, one foot at a time, etc.), or they dont, and standing in an accelerating ship should send them flying in whatever direction.

Momentum.
And it doesn't exist in Star Citizen.

ED characters use mag boots. We will have to see how FD handles movement when/if they implement space legs.

In SC there is artificial gravity.

Is the new forum software able to handle threads with more than 10000 posts?

Could we merge all ten threads together into one?

Would it be the largest thread on the entire Frontier forums then?

Let's not tempt the forum gods.

'Advanced magnetic boots'

Never forget, anything can be explained away with bare minimum effort lore in a sci-fi or fantasy setting.

cough telepresence cough

I know you guys are chomping at the bit to pvp with the new flight model.

Me against a player with the new hit scan weapons.

And of course my game crashes!
