I understand why, but teen rating is a shame.

Teen Rating means no exploring certain generation ships... No Dead Space/Alien type moments, no mature characters (drug dealers, junkies, etc), no drinking or use of drugs, no shooting on foot, no blood, no gore. Basically everything you'd use to showcase a dystopia or any thing horrific being described in various audio logs already found in game.

Honestly, Frontier should take the CD Projekt Red approach. If it requires a subject matter that is mature, don't sugar coat it.

I'm sure the bean counters came to the conculsion that inferior content, but for more people, meant both more beans and less work for them.
