Sorry. Since Christmas last year, that's old news....So, I am an early backer of SC with more than I want to admit to in contributions for fancy LTI ships.
I wrote a thread over at SC about leaving the game in my last will and testament to my grand kids to play, because It's still in "alpha" after almost five years of development and I still can't get the ships off the pad, much less go anywhere.
I was thinking about selling my entire contribution membership on e-bay, as I see hundreds of ships and game packages for sale, to cut my losses.
I was not interested in SQ42, as it just reminds me of too many other PVP shooters I can play which are completed games available now.
So, with all that I have read about the company selling off percentages, no new lines of credit and devs defecting elsewhere, I think it may be time to get out of this while prices and interest on e-bay is high. I could get twice or maybe three times what I have invested.
Any beta on this project, their financial wows not withstanding, seems at least three to four years out.
As well, Chris Roberts efforts to bring his vision of Wing Commander back to life has now gone astray, into some other vision not many get anymore.
I just read this:

Star Citizen’s single-player game targets 2020 release
Squadron 42 will be completed thanks to influx of $46M from billionaire investorwww.polygon.com
Seems SC will be giving away 10% percent of the company in exchange for the new investment capital.
Now had Kotaku or some disillusioned SC fan boi leaked a secret negotiation by Chris that gave away anymore of his vaporware to date, then that would make for an interesting bit of gossip.
