The fixed number of characters per line and the somewhat antiquated fixed with font might suggest that the vertical alignment matters. Perhaps they are like a set of rotors that have a specific offset specified by a keyword of some sort. The problem is that some of the capitols would still not make much sense. (unless there are both row and column offsets)

Edit:
'Remember' fits an even number of times vertically and 'kahinaloren' fits horizontally. Still need to write the code to evaulate it.

Massively enlarged eyes. I'd say only three dots, but those remind me of Orion??

If its any help She died on 29th April, 3303 at 20:49 (according top a quick google search).
I've tired various formats of this with Count dEstard's linked tool, so far to no avail.

It’s interesting that the middle light in the iris reflection is slightly off rotation between the left and right eyes. The center "star" in the her left eye is deflected too far to her left as compared to the other eye (in addition to their being a faint trail of light in that eye which is not obvious in the other). The shape/orientation could certainly come from Orion or the handle of the Big Dipper, at least on initial glance though I can't reconcile the relative brightness of the three to Orion.

There look to be two other oddities to my eye in the image though:
1) her hairline (between her eyes) is not right. Seems to me like there is something there that I just can't tease out, though I suppose it may just be a dithering issue
2) there is some kind of smudge/shape next to the candle flame which is difficult for me to discern

I definitely remember Drew saying this about the Formidine Rift mystery. I definitely do not remember any comments about required permits etc. regarding Raxxla. I think there has often been an assumption that at least one Elite ranking is required to find Raxxla but there has never been any confirmation that I have heard of.

Matlab seems well suited to these sorts of puzzles.(many useful intrinsics, and import functionality)

So far attempts to shift the cipher text into something sane have failed. (may try something like a brute force search over night)

There are 32 refs to 'remember' or some variant of such in Premonition and 65 in Reclamation. The one that stands out is in chapter 31 of Premonition:

"The truth must be known... and all this pain will end... they will ... remember." (similar to the text in the clue)

The chapter ends with the word "Martyr!"

I am going to be focusing next on trying to figure out if it is a plain text scramble of some sort, of if it is a pure cipher text.

I’m checking up on a much lesser known clue and I’m encountering music I’ve never heard before in the game...it’s almost like the guardian site music but it’s definitely not the same.

Will update when I sort this out. My game keeps crashing oddly.

Its worth being a bit cautious with the information from Drew and in his books - There are quite a few nods to his oolite saga stories to include Raxxla as Lave2, Rebecca seemingly making an appearance as the old lady in his E : D books etc.

There were some great stories written about oolite to include Drews works, and some of Drews stories also reference these other authors works to make it even more complicated!

Drew has also said in the past that he's not party to all of the lore information so I reckon that this little mystery is more to do with his upcoming blog than the in game search for Raxxla / the dark wheel.
...however I am frequently wrong!

This is interesting. I hope you have found something interesting, keep us posted!

As a side note - with the latest patch I have noticed significant changes in the game sounds. Most prominent change is the boost sound. Maybe some sound filters or parts of the sound engine in the game were changed and this affected music too. To be honest, these changes sounding more like a bug to me.

Quick update: I’m following up on the “another clue?” From the 2nd post on page 390. One of the planets I was exploring has a very odd look to it in night vision. I dare say at times it looks more like a structure that’s been dusted over. At one point I encountered some music I hadn’t heard. It was like the guardian site music but had some drums of war type layers to it. Also came across a small military/science site looking thing that was not coming up on any scan or anything. But every time I killed the last skimmer my game crashed and it would load me away from where I was. The site seemed to disappear too even though I found it once more. Never got a chance to look/scan whatever is/might be there in my Srv. But mainly what’s been bothering me are the patterns and textures I’m seeing in night vision. Either it’s a graphics issue of some kind or there is something deeply odd and suspicious about the location I’m in. I’ll look into it further later tonight when I get back home.

Flying around the Kwatis system after reading the reddit thread. Randomly got a update :"Mission Objective Detected." to go to a degraded emissions site. However, I don't currently have any active missions...please don't be a bug...
