This is a message for Frontier (Hacker in Sothis)

His name is <redacted>, this player drives a FDL with 5 yellow MCs.

Did you get his number plate?

Also, if you truly think there is a hacker, you shouldn't report via the forums. You need to report directly to FD. There is an in-game report tool.

Also, note, just because someone kills you doesn't mean they are hacking.

There is a hacker at Sirius Atmospherics in Sothis, griefing/killing every player without a reason. This is a spot for tourism missions.

Please do something about this guy. He has destroyed my anaconda twice and made me pay 15 millions credits.

How was he hacking?
Killing a likely poorly equipped tourist ship is not a hack. Camping yes, but not hacking.

Also, 15m for two Anaconda's?
So your Anaconda only costs 150m?
No wonder you died.

He moves like a hacker. Period.
I have 1200 hours in this game, I've seen a lot of players flying and doing amazing things with their ships but this wasnt that case. He teleported and was hidden all the times.

Find him again.... this time capture video.
Its easily done. Otherwise this is just a tall tale.

It's nice that you wanted to warn people about a potential problem --- oh, hold on, the title says you are warning Frontier Developments...

This er... this isn't the place to report cheating - there's actually a report player button in game.

If in fact you were trying to warn the community about a problem, if you don't provide video evidence you're unlikely to get much of a positive response.

Can you post your build too? That can show some light on the issue.

I hate to say it, but this kind of thing is not unusual in open. A meta combat build against a trade ship with a bit of lag can reproduce the symptoms.

No, not solo-mode lol
He flies that ship in a specific way, like going straight and then turning 90º in half a second, he does strange things like robot moves.
Also he shoots 5 multicanons and snipes the power plant in a second, then you cant move.
He is griefing every player in that location
The way you discribe his movements seems like bad lag. I fight other people every day 7 days a week and I know what bad lag looks like.

Emphasis Mine...

That appears to be a lousy network connection. Either on his end, your end or both.

Perhaps to be a little more constructive could op post his ship build?

Could there be a vulnerability in there somewhere which might explain why his PP went down so quickly? If there is we might guess the set up of the ganker and help prevent a reoccurring problem? I'm guessing if you're at Sothis you might have lots of cabins and not so many module/hull reinforcement?

No doubt, his Anaconda is setup like a school bus. But its a big ship right, and an FDL is a medium.
So he gets taken out , 'IMPOSSIBRU!, im in a big ship... the other guy must be a hacker'.

So... you didn't even think a minute about the possibility that
  • your ship was really poorly equipped
  • you are not very experienced (that's not a fault)
  • he was a more experienced player
  • his build was far better than yours
...but you assumed he was somehow cheating because you've been killed.

What's wrong with people and videogames nowadays, we used to blame ourselves for not being able to beat the final boss in Sonic 2.

This plagues Elite unfortunately. I feel sorry for no one getting blown up in open play only to complain about it. They do it to themselves.

On a sidenote, that boss in sonic 2 was hard asf. Having no rings never helped

If Sonic 2 was multiplayer, we'd be blaming other people. You know it's true. :p

OT: And don't forget he was after Metal Sonic... when you are that young it's really a nutcracker in your morale. XD
