What the hell is a "headlook hack"? Lol
If memory serves it happened last summer sometime. Some newbie flyboi opens a salt mine because he got swatted by another CMDR in Open. He accused the other CMDR of "hacking" his headlook because during the fight, headlook kept turning on and off and causing him to look around the cockpit instead of piloting the ship. He was convinced he was being hacked because his hotkey for headlook was on his mouse...and he never even touched his mouse, or something like that. Anyhow, the thread then turned into a lolfest as people had fun with him...he eventually read the manual on his HOTAS and saw that there was a button on the stick he was squeezing during the stress of the fight that was to blame. He eventually owned it...but it was a fair few pages of hilarity.
A bloke was blown up and claimed the attacker somehow hacked his head look software for an advantage. To the destroyed's credit, he eventually had a good laugh about it.
Here's the thread. Appears the OP is gone though.

Don't know if anyone remembers a game called Rocket Ranger, but it took up a hell of a lot of my life at the end of the 80s. A full playthrough lasted several hours, it got extremely hard from about halfway through, and there was NO SAVING AT ANY POINT. I still loved it though. Full of b-movie style.
Games nowadays spoil us.

This is a thing with Elite's architecture. You cant tell if hacking, having it full engineered or just using a wifi dongle from the basement.
Also, insert mandatory vet comment wehre hacking doesn't exists in online multiplayers nowadays, we lost the technology, so git gud.
Now I'll be back to finish completing my stacks of RamTah missions that'll get me back to the bubble with a billion. Because it's not cheating if you can earn the same mining opals.

It's really hard to tell when the OP doesn't provide any hard evidence. And no one is saying hacking doesn't exist in online multiplayer - of course it does!

People are hacking this game (again) according to the chatter. No, I won't link these sites here. I'm not saying that's what happened to the OP, without video it's hard to say, but hacks exist to make a ship OP, so please don't pretend that they don't, all of you come off sounding very naïve.
Reminds me of the fit Rinzler got when he saw the Coriolis trader builds in his "trading in open" vid. EpicDamn, takes some work to get a rebuy that low.... is this your build OP?
