Warg it takes time and a bit of grinding, but one day you will get there. Just keep chillin and take it one day at a time and before you know it the grind will be over.

The grind never ends for me, I am always building new ships, trying new builds, and needing materials and money to do so.

How the hell do you get a FGS to 5100 armor?
Legacy god-modules?
Best I can get is roughly 4500 armor and that's skipping on a AMFU and an interdictor.
This is my current build with reactive and a 4D MRP, and I'm FAR from your numbers...

It goes up from 3644 to 4300 just changing the engineering and dropping the AMFU in favor of another HRP.
Drop the fighter hangar and FSD interdictor and it jumps to >5300 absolute.

Just that when I saw you posted a reply to Bigmaec, I thought you were replying directly to what you quoted. And I didn't realize Interstellar Overdrive was posting it on purpose. My bad.

It's actually a FDS man. The Gunships little Brother, but it's Tankier. (I also run the FGS a TON)
I looked at your build and it's good. I just don't run fighters or a AFMU. Without the Fighter, AFMU and swap the dictor into the New C1 slot and that is 4900 armor right there. Make sure to Put a 5D mrp instead of a 4D tho.

I was reiterating my comment to Bigmaec.
You got confused and butted in.
No biggie, it had nothing to do with the HRP.

I was replying to what I quoted, since Bigmaec had a lot to gain if he looked beyond the HRP he was fixated on; as it happens, even the ship type eluded him too.

In my defense, all those Federal Bricks look the same and even are named too similar. FEDERAL gunSHIP FEDERAL dropSHIP, FEDERAL assaultSHIP.
I mean, I'm over 40, one can make mistakes 😂

"Oh, so we're back on FGS now? Ok fine..."

I had only looked at your build at that point.

Now go change your engineering!

You should try the Dropship. Maaan that thing is like AE86 it drifts so much.

I really tried to like the FGS as well. I got killed in it so many times, the last time I lost my Elite co-pilot. I have better skills now and improved tactics, but... i would rather fly the vette in those situations.
