What other games are we all playing?

Yeah, don't mind the title. It was originally a toxic post, but most of us treat it like "What other games are you playing, aside from ED"
That's funny, I've never read the original post until I saw yours just now. Yeah, that's just stupid and trollish imo. I use this thread as an excuse to literally talk about what games are occupying my current attention, but nothing negative implied towards ED lolol.

Yeah, I think we all feel the same. Aside from OP, of course, who hasn't been seen for many years.
I also come here for inspiration. A couple games I'm played in last year or two are from this thread. :)

Yeah, same. Another game that I'm currently a bit obsessed with is because of a thread on this sub about car racing sims. I hadn't touched them in years, and because of that thread I dusted one of my old favorites off and fell madly in love with it all over again...to the point where I'm planning to build a mid-range simpit for it this coming winter.

Been exploring many different games during my Elite burnout and now i found my way back to online pew pew:

Already got to play this in closed beta and early access launching tomorrow, cant wait!!
Looks very similar to Post Scriptum...

Yup. With couple of differences. PS development has been quite slow for the past months and the player base is almost non-existent. That info is from Steam though, i dont own PS.
Also, PS was originally just a Squad mod, but HLL is completely its own franchise.
BUT, theres free weekend on PS now, so i think i will give it a go also. :)

So I tried the PostScriptum WW2 online shooter, did not like it one bit.It feels like clunky mod for Arma 2 or something - not my cup of tea. After watching few YT vids on Hell let Loose it seems its a much better option.
Also been playing a lots of Insurgency Sandstorm over last week. Game feels just incredibly smooth and natural with excellent animations and sound. Even with my rubbish FPS skills and playing as a "random" in the team I enjoy it tremendously.

Even Hell let loose looks pretty janky in honesty. BUT it's still got a year of development time left until full release so it will improve.

I've been back into Stellaris again, given the recent Steam sale. (Picked up a few more DLC). It's definitely the best of the 4x pack these days. Quite a fun game! I've played it for dozens of hours, but I'm ashamed to say I've never even gotten past the mid-game. lol. I usually lose interest about then.

Same here, been playing some Stellaris after the newest patch. It also added a new story DLC which is quite good, Ancient Relics. The new and free update also improved some late game performance and it is the first 64-bit version of Stellaris (32-bit no longer supported past 2.2.7 patch which is still possible to play).

Even though I vowed never to buy another EA game, (I brought the key from G2T for half of what EA wanted on Origin) I just got BF2 just needed a SW/FP fix and it fitted the bill.

I bumped the difficulty down to normal and it's become a bit more manageable now. At least I got over the curve I was properly stuck on and progressed. It's a lovely gem of a game that really does the setting justice.

I bypassed some initially too demanding scenarios, collected stuff and took out easier groups. Now I was able to go back and clean it all up.
Great game, really unique and the first XCOM style game since Enemy Unknown that keeps me engaged!

i'm considering buying new thermal paste as AC Origins boils my 7700k at 90C (1.25v 4.6Ghz). Within factory set limits, but it lower temps and/or a bump to 4.8Ghz would be nice. :)

Yes, I've found that equipping all three characters with a silent weapon and fully upgrading it helps enormously also. It gives you the Strength to take out those wandering tougher enemies without agrooing the entire group.

Very much a gem of a game and anyone that liked XCOM will find a home here for sure.

Still on Mad Max and Metro 2033 when I'm bored with Elite. Have a little hotseat Civilisation 6 session going on with missus. Also connected my steering wheel for Project Cars 2 in VR.

And in April 2020 I will be playing Cyberpunk 2077 instead of Elite :p

Tell you what though...

BORDERLANDS 3 IN SEPTEMBER!

Frontier has thier work cut out if they wanna keep me signing in after that drops.

Damn that s**t looks polished as all hell.

I'm playing Flight Simulator on my new XB1X. Well, I'm dreaming of that, anyway 🤗
But...but...it's not coming out on the Xbox (as far as I've heard). It's something to do with the new Xbox/PC game pass thing is all.

Apart from that...still playing a bit of everything. SC, Exodus, Odyssey, Wildlands, Project cars 2, U-boat...other stuff
