The Quest To Find Raxxla

Has anyone been to Qiefoea CL-Y G6? It's an odd black hole 7500ly from the bubble. My anaconda is not up to par atm and It will take me too long to get it setup. It's a curious black hole system.

Hm...Hera ...she made MW & all visible stars (i.e. many galaxies, not 1) by her milk when pushed out not own baby ...
And she has many names + always shown with crown and with 1 "jewel"

I still think that Mother of the Galaxies is Virgo because:
  • Virgo constellation contains alot of galaxies, huge galaxy cluster is there
  • it is also Demeter in greek mythology and galaktikos is a milk
  • it is also Astraea in roman mythology (star-maiden, Astrophile)
  • spiralling stars are also galaxies
  • names of the both raxxla-related womens in codex (Cora and Cynthia) are the names of Demeter's daughters, and btw Sideris means 'constellation'...

Well, 1 of Hera's names are "Παρθένος (Parthénos) 'Virgin'"

But I don't see any good star in her brow ....however 1-2-3-4 Vir stars are close enough to Earth, which fits ED 1.0 with low jump range.

Zavijava (also Zavijah, Zavyava and Zawijah) and Alaraph , Beta Virginis, on the brow, is at 36 Ly...
Nu Virginis, even more on the brow, is at 300 Ly..

Now i should add that there is something very strange in the Virgo constellation in ED. As you know, in ED sky as visible from Sol is very simular to the real sky... except one star that is bright and very well visible in ED but does not exist in reality at all... Shoujeman, that is near Auva. It is bright star in ED, but there are no stars in that location at all in real life.

Maybe off topic, but the 12 thargoid ground things in witch head have tahrgoid symbols on them that look like letters. 5 = C 4=C. I'll assume they are all the same. 8)

There are also weird object you can't label or target darting around overhead at very fast speeds with very fast turns like ufos.

It's also DL-Y D17, which means there are goingto be some that are D0-D16 and maybe more. I wonder if they meant for us to explore them all. The ones without a -x tend to be a sequence. You can find them in every sector and they have odd star/planet patterns normally.

Eh? There's more than 12 Thargoid barnacle sites on some of the planets in the WHN, although some are already destroyed / harvested when you get there while others have 1-5 MA that regrows on relog.

Didn't pay much attention to the logos on them. On my way there now with repair mats...

True- looking at toasts in general they are seldom used to convey a direct path or narrative but rather seem to hit the salient people/points or major tenents of the toasts' subject.

Assuming 'The toast of the Dark Wheel' is a fraternal toast and specifically related to initiation, I would expect a focus on the important aspects of the subject .. in our case raxxla. I think we have been treating it as a riddle from the start – but not overtly describing it as one.

“In conclusion during the liminal stage of a rite of passage both the initiates and the community focus on religious symbols that provide a means for transcendence. They are able to do this because these symbols function as riddles that engage the people in a quest to orient themselves within a cosmos of meaning. As riddles they frame the metaphorical boundaries within which transcendence occurs. By looking closely at the religious objects, scholars of religion my gain an intimate glimpse into the parameters of meaning in a particular culture; by focusing on an individual's engagement with those objects we may begin to understand the process of transcendence as a metaphorical quest for meaning.”

This is still predicated on the assumption that TDW know where Raxxla is.

That said, credit for approaching it from a different direction.

Hmmm.
So the 'riddle' could be unrelated to Raxxla itself, simply a mechanism for identifying potential candidates for membership. Interesting.

If that were true, then TDW would need to have 'seeded' the toast into the rumormill, rather than it being an actual toast they use. Definitely a possibility - though equally we could be back to @PeteACarter's laughing pirates :)
