Yeah, maybe I shouldn't have made the system name public 'cause it seems tapped out now, an hour dry flying earlier this a.m. I also have a few Platinum hotties to investigate later on, gotta keep the goods incoming!

I turned up a couple of days ago in my mining Python: 128 ton capacity. I've just done three runs and I'm surprised to be in the top 25%. What's going on? Is everyone holding out for monzanite cores instead of just emptying every asteroid they meet?

With only a few hours to go with our event. I would like to say, on behalf of Starship Enterprises Corp, a BIG thank you to everyone who contributed.
Mining events are usually the slower of the CG's but this one did really well. I hope everyone made lots of credits and will come and visit our soon to be established asteroid base.

Tonight's tabulation for my Commander. I may be able to make a final run before it closes tomorrow, found a nice Platinum hotspot to dig in.

I might make one more go at things tonight, but I never found any of the good stuff. I'm also not very good at the old surface mining, IE the old mechanics, so I didn't get much to turn in. I'm only at Rank D. Honestly it was hard to focus on this and basically make almost no credits, knowing I could go off and do normal core minerals in the same area and make bucketloads :) But I did do a good chunk of time toward the event in my Phantom, even if it was all mostly just Osmium and Uraninite.

it would be nice if it could reach tier 6, but i don't think it will happen
however, even tier 5 is a nice performance

AI Pirate attacks seamed to increase yesterday...
but they don't live long, T10 AI pirate exploded as he tried to jump...

I could not leave my total under 2000T. I'm done now. Also, I got to help kill a would-be pirate. He wasn't messin' with me, but he tasked me, he tasked me!

Great job, Commanders, a little slow off the blocks but a real nice finish.

I didn't have as much time to do this as I had expected. I netted 39 tons of mostly samarium and uraninite, but that put me in the top 75% and I got like 3.something million credits so I think that might be the most lucrative piddly samarium haul ever.

Usually they are scheduled to start on Thursday afternoon (1500 UTC/Game time). You will have to wait and see if there is anything happening tomorrow. ;)
